between here and there
Oh, and my daughter has those expensive hearing aids. Her insurance covers most of them. She still can't hear that great.
Mine were not the most expensive they offered but not the cheapest either. Still sit me back a pretty penny tho cause my ins didnt cover it at all at the time.

Been out of sorts for the last couple of weeks with a C-Diff infection since July 25th (hospitalized last week for 4 days, too)... Ugh, thank you (not!) ulcerative colitis! :-x

Needless to say, I have done nothing since then and today is my 1st day back at work. I haven't vaped anything since then until a few days ago, but I did manage to try Ella's Shortbread before I fell ill... Nope, WAY TOO sweet. I will try it again at some point, but eliminatomg the sweetener until I try it without. Good God, it was far sweeter than I expected it to be and that's all I tasted. No sweet, buttery cookie at all.

Hope all of you are well (I may not catch up on the thread)! :)

Yes i did. The whole experience was rather frustrating and in the end ended up not being able to wear them have and feeling like i was left out in the cold. Unless, of course, i wanted to spend more money. Big racket out there. Buyer beware.
I’m so sorry for your experience as my daughter told me that the ear mold & hearing aid itself has a warranty. And there are at least 4 different materials for the ear mold in case of allergies. I’m sorry the Dr. you went to didn’t help you & instead made the experience unpleasant for you.

Depending on when this happened & if you want to pursue it you have every right to have them work for you since there is a warranty.

Did that too. This company did not have alternatives. They offered me creams to use. But really that is about it. Its so sweet of you to speak to your daughter to find info but the warrenty period has expired. Its not a molded type of aid. I am not in wv right now so cant take a pic to show you what it looks like. Its been 2 years since all of this happened. And the result is my hearing just gets worse. I have made inquires about other types but they dont want to give info unless you purchase something.

I don't know what possessed me to mix Custard the Quickening. It is good but it's not for me.

Bringing up the rear has to be the last mix I used Sugar Cookie in. It also uses FLV Pound Cake so I used my rhubarb once again to cut the sweetness. I am liking this one.

    Cookie Fruit Cake
    FLV Pound Cake 1.5%
    INW Rhubarb 1%
    Cap Sugar Cookie 2%
    FA Premium Custard 1%
    WF Mascarpone !%

The Sugar Cookie is so sweet I don't really taste the rhubarb in it but it does the job of fighting sweetness. For my own remix, I will use a less sweet cookie and less rhubarb.

Does anyone have a simple blueberry cream recipe?
Might not be what you're looking for since it also has blackberry & custard & isn't all that simple, but in case you're interested.

    1% FA Bilberry
    2% TFA Blackberry
    1% FA Blackcurrant
    6% TFA Blueberry Candy
    1.5% FA Cream (Fresh)
    1.5% FA Marshmallow
    2% TFA Sweet Cream
    1% TFA Sweetener
    2.5% FLV Vanilla Custard

I’m so sorry again that you had that horrible service. I can’t believe that. My daughter is at Purdue University & the doctors she learns from are wonderful. They have a clinic & she told me most hearing aid companies honor their warranties & the doctors at Purdue University are really great.

Maybe when you get back to VW if you want to send me a pic & I will forward to my daughter. And if you want a referral to reputable doctors in your state I can have my daughter look into it. You shouldn’t have to suffer because of incompetence and people’s greed.

The last of my old 30ml mixes is a Hazelnut Sugar Cookie that was way too sweet. Since it was 30ml I tried to save it with 1% plain cheesecake. It's not sweet anymore but I don't care much for it. Oh, well I tried.
