between here and there
I am copying recipes for future mixing. As soon as I get caught up around the yard/house, I will branch out. I usually do very simple, tried and true recipes since I am so picky but I want to do some with rice, mango, guava and the likes. I may even try creating more of my own although everything seems to have been done already and I usually just tweak an already tried recipe.
I hesitate to mention this as i am not at home so no access to my recipes but i do a passionfruit, orange, guava and mango e juice that I keep in my daily rotation. It has Fa passionfruit
Caps Orange
Caps guava
And Pur mango.
The Pur mango is not sweet so it cuts the sweetness of the other flavors way down. You maybe able to find recipes for a starting % on elr as i am sure its been mixed by many with their own preferred flavorings. You may even want to add some WS-23 for a cooling taste.
Just a thought.
:)

No, I'm not gonna read all 7,465,928 posts to find out. I'll just ask here. :)

What percentage of the final blend should the flavorings be and what determines that? Answers less than 50 words that don't begin with the word, "Depends" are appreciated.

Let me put it this way. Are you still happy with vendor juice or is it starting to taste over flavored to you?

    Tasting perfectly fine.
Ok, then when you mix you'll want to keep your flavor percentage on the high side. Vendor juice is highly flavored. I'd try mixes between 15%-18% flavor then take it from there whether that's good or you might want more or less.

It depends hahaha, didn't start with 'depends'.

I like strong flavors so I usually do 15 to 20%. Lots of folks only use 5 to 10%. Best way is to go by a few recipes others have doe and use their recommended %, or start at 5 to 7 with a small bottle (like 5ml). You can always add it to a stronger batch if you need more.

Next question is what kind of flavors do you like? You need to buy these. Stick to the smallest bottle size. If you find some you like you can always get bigger bottles then.

When I first started mixing, it was not uncommon for me to mix at and above 20%. Now most of mine are around 10% or less but some I like are 10-14. Some flavor brands tend to be more concentrated than others. If it says “SC” in the title then it’s super concentrated.

    Gracious!

I’m going to make a chocolate chip recipe then blend it with a smooth tobacco. I’ll make two blends. One will be tobacco heavy and the other choco chip heavy. From there I can mix the final blend from the two blends to see what ratio I like most.

Then it will fail and I will start over with something else. :)

Any juice I vape has to have tobacco in it. Preferably NET but that’s down the road for now.

Or you could get lucky. It does happen right off sometimes. I wouldn't give up on your first mixes. Work with them and make them better. That's important to learning.
