I didn’t really love it. It’s a great tank but the coils require pretty high wattage and that’s not really my style of vaping. I did a review not long ago.

You can use a large single coil if at 4 to 4.5 mms. That what DJLs recommendated and that what I use in half my Zeus Xs. (Too many Xs , Singles and Duals to count) I like a variation in ohms though.

I dumped many bottles of liquid when I first tried mixing to come up with a replacement for my no longer available menthol tobacco. I still dump some. I tried the Grack recipe recently and it was horrible. I dumped 15ml of that one.
Hate to dump it but hate vaping it more. :)

I always think of if there is a way to fix a blah recipe. If I think a simple addition will fix it then I will try. If I think it's fixable but has to be remixed then I'll do that. If I don't see any possible fix then I just dump.

Luckily mixes I've made, so far, that have been subpar to what I was going for have been at least vapeable. The only juice I've dumped has been store bought. Hope that lucky streak continues. One time went for watermelon/apple candy and it turned out like bubblegum.. not the worst thing in the world, but I made it through the 15ml.

Unless it's truly awful, I guess I'm the type that doesn't like to throw things away.

There are just some flavors that are nauseating. Can't vape it if it's that bad.

How is the Zeus x rta tank? Got my eye on that one.

I like the Zeus X tank quite a lot. I liked it enough to buy two more, which are still in the boxes. I will play with them next week while Molly and the baby are away. I haven't tried it with a single coil yet but I will. The first try with wicking wasn't terribly successful but I hit the jackpot the second time around. I am getting great flavor using quad-core Ni80 coils (40/30). These coils ohm out at .23 and I am running the Minikin V2 at 45 watts.

Thanks Pam. Did you wrap the coils yourself? Or buy pre made ones? I am curious about the inner diameter or if you could link where to find the coil material.

    TIA

    :)

I misspoke. I thought we were talking about the Zeus sub ohm tank that was recently released instead of the rta. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I have a Zeus Dual and I was just wondering why the Zeus x was even produced. I guess the inner air flow is somehow different between the 2. I have a single titanium coil(4mm) coil on it with plenty of wicking(purposely over wicked to help the juice flow for such a larger tank) and it has taken some getting used to. I usually don't use high wattage either but this requires it. Its in my rotation using unflavored base but only gets used occasionally.

Got my 2 liters of nic from heartland broke up into 4oz boston glass bottles and got in the freezer today.

Thumbs up to heartland, delivered within 48 hours of order, and nic looked really good, clear and smelt how nic should smell
Is the nic stash complete now? Or just started?

I just started using the two Dual Zeus’s I have and came to the same conclusion. The favor is fantastic and it’s easy to build on and the look is great esp if looking for a really shiny ss.

I always wrap my own coils. The Ni80 wire was purchased from Lightening Vapes (soon to be WireOptim):
    Hybrid Wire Spools - 25'

I almost always make 3mm coils. I guess when I try the Zeus X out as a single coil, I will make a larger mm coil if that works bests.

It is it for now, that will change if think nic is really at threat too, right now I believe even the states that have done a flavor ban, you can still buy nic, think that will come later on when they realize that is what everyone is doing.

I am not, at this point in time, worried too much about a nicotine ban but you just never know. That is why I stocked up and probably have enough for the rest of my life if I don't mix for others. My husband is a pharmacist and I believe he would be able to procure nicotine even if they do make it hard for individual consumers to buy.

There’s always the danger of an immediate ban. That would worry me if I needed more.
