A bit of good news and bad news...

The good: My Minifit lives!!! It had a drowning incident from a bad/cracked pod, which had to have seeped down into the contacts beneath and wouldn't fire. I sealed it (sans pod) inside of a small Ziplock bag with a couple of those silica packets for a couple of weeks (i.e., I forgot about it )... It powers on and vapes fine now!

The bad: That lovely hot pink 30w iStick with the full-sized nautilus with the fishnet tank on it, that I just started using again, is now MIA and feared gone, because I think the 'Vape Nazi' (i.e., my husband) threw it away... I can't find it anywhere! I found my green Resin Pico 75w w/ Crown Mini in the garbage one day. :grr: Luckily there wasn't any messy garbage in there & the pail was practically empty or I wouldn't have even noticed it in there. My poor iStick is probably long gone... :censored: :censored: :censored: :-x :-x :-x

So sorry about your iStick! Can you throw the husband into the garbage? Joking, of course, but I would be so angry! If it was me, I think some treasured possession of his might find it's way into the trash.

I simply would not put up with that. How would he like it you threw his stuff in the rubbish?

I can attest to how tough a double barrel is.. started off my work day by t-boning someone. Mod was in the cup holder and went flying, well.. everything went flying, even my glasses.. except me, of course (safety belt). Someone ran a red light, I had no chance at all. Luckily I hit her rear left passenger door, and not driver door. I would have seriously injured or killed her. She was uninjured, but very shaken up(as was I, not a great way to start your morning).. elderly woman. I'm glad I wasn't hurt at all, but adrenaline may be masking ailments. My double barrel and Erl also escaped damage. Maybe a scuff on the polycarbonate tank, but nothing on the DB.

Dang, not a good way to start the day, Bark. Good that all involved are (at least apparently) unscathed, and three cheers for seat belts!

So, he'd rather you smoke? Does he realize he's throwing money away?? Time to shorten his favorite tie. Or fill one of his favorite shoes with compost.

The flavors I know I will continue to use and order larger bottles of I put in glass boston rounds. 30ml for the ones I use often and 10-15ml for the ones I just use when the mood strikes.
I should decant my 30ml flavors into glass. Lord knows I have plenty of bottles to spare.

My husband is a control freak. He is absolutely convinced that vaping is far more destructive than smoking and that I should just stop vaping or simply use gum/patches. He was never a smoker, so he doesn't get it and never will. Every time he catches me vaping, I get called every condescending name in the book (because I'm "stupid and selfish"). I would dump his a ss tomorrow, if it wouldn't cause even more distress for me and our son. (I've learned to choose my battles.) I believe he has developed the same condition his mother, grandmother, brother, and nephew have (bipolar), but yet he believes he is only normal one in the house and everyone else is screwed up... Yay, me.

Got my 500ml nic replacement today, and my 1 gallon is also on it's way. I'm done stocking up on nic, but thinking of getting 1 more mod and a few more RTAs. Anyone use a Coppervape Hussar Project X? I'm thinking about nabbing one
@AngeNZ is a fan. Maybe she'll pop in to explain its virtues. I'm not wild about it myself. This partly has nothing to do with the atty: I just have a juice in it that I'm finding quite harsh. But I also had a hellish time first taking it apart to clean and then getting the juice control to work. Even now, the only way I can shut off the juice control is to loosen the top bit (official term) after I remove the cap. This makes filling rather more of a trial than it should be.

I also didn't think it was as easy to build as many others do. The deck is sunken, so I found getting the coil into position a little fiddly. I'm clumsy and inexperienced, though, so this may be a simple matter of user incompetence.

Criminy, I'm so glad it wasn't any worse!

If you do use solid caps, the rubber on the dropper lid lets flavor molecules escape. Since that post I've moved all my flavors into PET. The 20ml and 30ml bottles are easier to squeeze. Tried ldpe but some concentrates were too acidic and ldpe bottles would get leaky and soft.

Wow, glad you both both ok. I know you will be sore for a few days though. Take it easy for a bit.
Thanks folks. I wish I could, unfortunately this is our crunch time of the season. I'd have to be hospitalized to miss work, which I hope I don't have to be, I can't afford to miss to work. my lucky ducky on the dash saved meView attachment 843601
We just pulled 3 nets, which is the most physically strenuous part of trap net fishing, and I feel fine. Thanks Ducky!
