It's blowing pretty hard out right now. tomorrow it'll still be blowing hard but it'll be a much more favorable direction.. although the waves are going to be enormous. There may be as big as 22 foot waves out in the middle of the lake. We are very close to shore with our nets, about a mile off shore. We have to go out and tie shut our 3 remaining nets down.. AND be back to the dock and fish unloaded by noon. Lol it won't be a boring day at least! We can still have our nets/equipment in the lake, but they must all be tied shut and not fishing by Nov 1st.

This is one of the things I hate about fishing: that you have to go out despite the weather in order to comply with the regulations. It should be possible for exceptions to be made when it's foul. Maybe it is (she says hopefully)?

$100 of flavors ordered from BCF and Chefs, I am getting to the stage where I need to start a inventory on my flavors, had to spend time going through all my flavors, so didn't order things I already have.

Also with flavor bans, I had started keeping all flavors in my fridge, don't think was a good idea, my absinthe has turned to slush, hopefully thraw out fine, now put all my flavors back in the cabinet instead.

So I don't have to search through 1600+ pages of this thread, what is the best site to use for inventory on your flavors, guessing elr as hittman just commented on them?

I like elr. I have all my flavors listed in my stash and can keep notes on them. I also have 6 pages of recipes saved there. Most probably came from this thread.

No I didn’t.I tried but BCF doesn’t have it.

Sometimers I find when BCF is oos of a flavor it will not show at all. You could send an email to ask if they plan to restock it as I am sure that is where I purchased mine too.

I keep mostly the fruit flavors in my fridge. I am not sure its necessary but it has not hurt any of them. Probably just a psychological thing but .......

When searching through the thread use ecf search bar in upper right hand corner. Put the cursor in the box and you will see a 'more' button at the bottom of the block click on it to enter name of recipe and if you remember who wrote it put members name also. easy and better than looking through loads of pages.
You can also put the forum to search too.

Yeah it was Nic River or River Valley as they are called now. Sub it with FA Caramel at 1.5% or 2%

Definitely ELR - plus once you have your stash in there, clicking on a flavour brings up the flavour notes

edit.... um, that’s some hefty waves! We don’t go out if it gets close to 10, but we’re just in a 30’ center console, no cutty cabin
