He’s dug under right now. I can’t feed them when the temperatures drop below 68* as they aren’t able to digest the food (cold blooded). Since he’s captive bred, he doesn’t understand that would possibly kill him, and would gobble it right down. Hard to watch him dance for his dinner when all I can give is fresh water

My oldest brother (68) is in the later stages and he still is hoping for a miracle.... We can only hope.

I just saw another news segment maybe a week or two ago about more positive developments. But yes, we have seen this a number of times over the recent years. And my understanding is the drugs released in the past 5-10 years have helped to slow the progress of AH. But like everything else it is more effective in the early stages.

Another thing to look into is, Right to Try. Trump signed it earlier in his term. No idea if or how it applies to AH but would be worth exploring... particularly for your 68 yo brother.
