I had worked on the Chocolate Cookie recipe that ultimately was a fail because I couldn't tolerate the sugar cookie in it. But I learned there was a favorable chocolate combination in there that seemed to work for me. It was Milk Chocolate (TFA) and Double Chocolate Clear (TFA) with a strong emphasis on the milk chocolate. So I mixed this chocolate combination with some of my Nicaraguan Viso (SM) and some Brown Sugar (TFA). It's 2-1/2 weeks old and I vaped some this morning. Interesting. It's not my ADV nor is it in the same ballpark, but it is in the same state. I made progress with this mix. I learned that the chocolate component I'm looking for is not as milk chocolate as I'm looking for. And I might be a little strong with the Nicaraguan Viso. So I can use this info going forward. Very happy with this progress. :)

I'm very happy with that also. Sounds like you are getting close. Did the Brown Sugar fit in ok? I'm surprised you didn't try it without.

I haven't been able to tell yet, Fran though it doesn't seem to be any kind of major impediment. I will try it without the brown sugar to be sure but at that time I was more interested in just losing the sugar cookie. It was abundantly clear that was in the way and I think all I was interested in then was to get it out of the way so I eliminated it altogether.

NET.com (naturally-extracted-tobacco) — if you are interested in trying NETs but do not want to extract your own tobacco, 20% off everything today including premixed. No coupon code required. Automatically calculated. I think free shipping too.
Clay makes excellent NETs but he is on the pricey side for his extracts.

Don't blame you there. Too sweet and pasty

That's great that you are making some good progress. I have honestly done very little with chocolate recipes besides trying sft of them. I'm still letting the DF steep but will get back to trying it in a week or so.

Exactly! Pasty is a good way to put it. I just really liked parts of that chocolate cookie recipe and wanted to segregate it out. I did take the liberty of emphasizing the milk chocolate more and that might have been a mistake. So I can go back and de-emphasize in the next try. I'm beginning to think Double Chocolate Clear or even the Chocolate Chunks is the major chocolate component I'm looking for. Baby steps.

It really is a slow process with having to steep but I'm happy as long as I'm going in the right direction. I've kind of broken it down to three flavor categories. The NET, the chocolate component, and that mystery flavor shaper that sets it apart. I've made good progress on the first two but less on the last. I really want to get those first two right first. That takes me 80% of the way. From there I can experiment with those flavor tweakers like vanilla, brown sugar, graham, malt, etc...

Thanksgiving dinner was mostly a success for me — just a few items I could not taste nor eat.

    After meal Vapes —
    NET.com Dat Caramel Brownie
    The Note Forte (Burley)
    Coil Vapes Dat Won
I was just vaping a nice burley from Pop's extracts yesterday. Called Golden Extra.

Maybe consider a bit of Fa cookie if you feel the cookie part is off?
