The DIY Shisha flavors are maybe ten years old.
Shisha smoking has been in the Middle East for centuries.
I suspect someone borrowed the name to avoid "fairy fart" or some other misnomer.

No I don't think that's it. They do resemble the flavors in Shisha. For example, the INW Bahraini Apple Gold is pretty spot on for the Double Apple Shisha I used to buy.

So you believe the Shisha DIY flavors are for mixing with tobaccos ? Interesting...

Well, you probably could? But I guess they are meant to mimic the flavors of Shisha without the tobacco component. I know, clear as mud. They have the molasses-y tang that Shisha has, and I think a bit more depth than the regular versions.

I got a mixing station finally! Hip height, hardwood top serving table with shelves, drawers, and plenty of room for all of my DIY supplies. Now I have to set it all up, that's the fun part. This will make mixing so much easier, rebuilding too. The best part is that I got it for free from a friend that was moving. One mans trash is another mans treasure. Sure is some nice looking 'trash'. :)

This table is much better than the one I was using. I had to do some reorganizing (in progress still), but I'm ecstatic. I love free stuff, no way I'd have payed for a $200 table just for mixing. I remember saying the same thing about power tools, cutlery, motorcycles, firearms, and lately DNA mods. I think I need to invest more in (some) higher quality goods. Personal opinion on purchasing has changed once I experienced the differences between good quality vs. low-cost items. My budget dictates I spend less than many, but in the areas I value I should spend more (mid-range pricing, no diamond mods lol!). The value added to my life is substantial so it's worth doing (As long as it doesn't negatively impact my life in other ways of course).

Christmas decorations are done...just waiting on my son to get home to do some heavy lifting to get some of the heavier stuff in the basement. WHEW I’m pooped. So happy I stuck to my plan and did it today.

So what flavors are on everyone’s wish list? Mom gave me an amazon gift card and I was thinking about getting nail polish cases but I dunno. I like the “free” shoe boxes but it’s impossible to know what you’ve got. I guess I can label the shoe boxes like I would label the cases and make a list of flavors in each box. Hmm

Nice score! I'm at a time in my life now where I'd outfit it with a big ole magnifier. :)

There are advantages to having a son. :)

    My DIY wish list is:
Spice racks that accommodate 4oz. bottles
A few nail polish holders for my 8-30oz. flavor bottles
Renaissance wax/mineral oil/microfiber polishing pads for my stabilized wood mods.
Lots of flavors I haven't tried yet, WF and FLV mainly.

A partidge in a pear tree...

I went ahead and put in a small order with bcf. I figured I may as well take advantage of the coupon. Just five flavors on this order.
Hitt, are you sure about your strawberry croissant mix? I just tested mine and the berry isn’t lost at all. I wanted to make sure in case I needed to adjust it before I leave town, and have time for it to settle in. @FranC , did you post more than one version by any chance?

I make a list and tape it to the top of the container.

I just don’t taste the strawberry much. Maybe I measured wrong or something.
