@vaper1960, it occurs to me that you might want to put all your flavor research into a blog as well as a thread. That way, if the thread recedes into the mists of time, you can direct people to the blog instead of their having to dig up the thread.
Thank you. I'll try to organize it better and then do that.

Trying to catch up on the thread. My rescue cat Quique, has been nicknamed Quique Crankypants. He wants attention only when he wants it. My friend joked he should be called Covid, because Covid 19 saved him. He was attacking me unprovoked and had me in tears. But I couldn't return him because Covid 19 closed the shelter. Then I found out he's scared of water. So a spray bottle mostly took care of the attacking, and he seems to be settling down some. He is funny, because he wants to be near me, but does not want to be petted most of the time. Unless he's being carried around, which he loves, and he purrs and purrs and will be petted. Anyhow, he's staying for good, we're figuring out how to make it work. I wish I knew what happened to him that messed him up, but I guess I never will! Someone definitely carried him around a lot as a kitten, because that's what he likes best. He tries to fit in my sweatshirt hood, but at 11 pounds, he can't. He randomly leaps onto my shoulder when I'm busy doing something. Very startling when that happens!

My lil sis’s cat was like that. Never liked to be pet. I always approached him slowly, holding out my hand for him to sniff, leaving it there for him to rub up against appose to me just petting him. After a few rubbings he eventually allowed me to pet him.

Perhaps Crankypants would like a ride in a knapsack if you got one.

I have been using it in cheescakes recipes to make them a bit creamier. Anywhere from 1-3 %. on each individual. But have yet to really use as the star in a recipe. At that those low pcts i didn't and dont really taste the yogurt it just kind makes them smoother - for me anyway.

I believe another member told me to get it because it really helped with cheesecake recipes and I just never got around to using it, may have been Letitia. I'll make a couple sfts with it now that I have a ballpark figure to start at.

Thanks Spice.

My daughter named her cat Meow Meow. In my disdainful southern accent it comes out Mau-Mau
That’s funny, Miao miao is what my girls called Audrey (the Nebelung my youngest “stole” when she moved out). Of course our cats would have a Southern accent to their meows!

Nobody faint... I’m updating the stash with the order that came (um, don’t remember when lol) Have bottles and scale ready to mix. I’m aiming for 6. We’ll see

You folks are making me jealous with all the cat talk. Our cat passed away a couple years ago and my wife swore there would be no more cats. Our dog has been having problems on and off with one of her back legs and I'm afraid she's going to end up needing surgery. I miss having a cat and I'm sure the dog misses having a play mate.

Sorry to hear about your cat. And truly hope your pup gets better. As for you wife, tell her cats will rule the world – there no telling when that will happen so it’s best to get a cat now, and get on their good side before that time comes.

I only have a stack of 8 billion recipes to pick through for ideas or just mix. I’m definitely going to try Butter My Biscuit. I’ve seen several people say it tops INW Biscuit, so I have high hopes it’s in my wheelhouse. I’ll mix one of yours as written, one with BMB subbed in. I’m also going to try it with a little cheesecake or custard I have already steeped to see what it does there. We’ll see next month, unless I get antsy and try one early.

    Somewhere between here and there
Does it have a light taste? Or a heavy one?
I honestly don't remember. If you want it, pm me your address.

I was surprised that she didn't want another one. It was her cat. He sat on her lap at night to be petted. He didn't like me picking him up but wouldn't scratch. Probably because I was the one that cut his nails.

Do believe what we eat or drink can have an effect on how we taste our vape. Drink a bottle of whisky and everything tastes great!! (joking but true!).
If I drink red wine, my taste are temporarily wiped out (not so much with beer)

I have been looking for a vanilla flavor that taste much like the Nestle type of taste for vanilla. All the vanilla's i have seem to be dark where i want a very light vanilla flavor. Anyone know or have a flavor like this?
Not sure if this is what you would call "light" but I really like the VT Vanilla cream (mostly vanilla with a little cream)

Also mixed a tester of Green Banana Bamboo Milk (MB).
I used your strawberry croissant as my constant to test the butter my biscuit in (one as written, one with the sub). I also added some to a rather uninspired custard I had steeped to try (custard didn’t have a base flavor, so high hopes this kicks it up a notch). Also did a new Worthers Candy. I accidentally mixed double the custard base for it, so split it and added raspberry jam, blackberry (fw) and INW biscuit to it on a whim. Missing a few. I had 7 to put in the box. Already have a dozen in various states of steep, so in the end I’ll have a variety.

Let me know what that Green banana one tastes like. Sounds weird.

I agree, but enough in what I read from reviews to be intriguing. Everyone seemed to agree it’s not sweet, so there’s that.
Also mixed a pb chocolate milk. It uses glamour chocolate too. That’s the one I have the least hope for.
I took a not favorite milkshake base recipe and added granola and 1.5% apricot (whichever one @Bronze had used in his NET, which is why I originally ordered it). It’s headed in the right direction. Trying to decide which peach to add to round it out. Any thoughts on which one?
