I’d say that is false advertising. In order to achieve anything close to it’s claimed 220 watt output, you need a high voltage power source. 2 batteries in series will provide that for it doubles the voltage of a single cell. But 2 batteries in series retains the same mAh and CDR of a single equivalent battery. So if this device is using 2x 2500mAh batteries, then 2500mAh is all you are going to get.

You gain runtime due to the fact you are operating at a higher voltage, thus less current draw on the cells.

I vape at 10 to 15 watts. I buy for the longer run time and usually only if it's on sale. :)

Ohms law reveals the farce if they are configured in series to get the voltage. There are no 5000mah 18650 cells that I know of, so series it is. And as you pointed out you'd have to have the cells in parallel to double the mah and the voltage in that configuration would be 4.2v at best right after a charge. It's not a mech, so the magic would have to be in the electronics.

ETA, it's a mod I enjoy using here and there. At my power level it doesn't take much oomph to last me a day.

I got my vapemail :D  :D Ordered the DIY kit from Heartland because it was a good deal and needed some of the extra things. Very good deal and includes five 30ml flavors (in glass bottles)! All for just over $30 (plus shipping of course) My first order from them... very happy and will recommend them any day.

If you use the FA White, iirc its a little on the strong side so may want to start out low and work up.

:)
That’s my favorite peach!
I decided to go out on a limb and try CAP juicy at 4%. The granola and apricot have been steeped in for a month, so I’ll only give it a week to get cozy before I try it. I want to see how the more “canned” peach works here.

Most of today’s I won’t have to mess with for a month. I did find a steeped bottle of rhubarb custard in the box. Very nice surprise! Somehow I missed it when I was moving stuff up from steep to ready box. I’m going to save it for tonight. Something to look forward to

How long til you try that green banana and bamboo milk. It landed on my wishlist at BCF and I have hopes it doesn’t taste like banana......LOL. IDK I guess it sounded weird enough to be good. Maybe

I was going to give it a month. A)it said milk , and B) I’m really not sure what I’m going to think about it lol. What do you think? I usually lump all dairy types into an automatic 1 month steep group

My lil sis’s cat was like that. Never liked to be pet. I always approached him slowly, holding out my hand for him to sniff, leaving it there for him to rub up against appose to me just petting him. After a few rubbings he eventually allowed me to pet him.

Perhaps Crankypants would like a ride in a knapsack if you got one.

That's an idea. He just might! He loves to be carried around the house but it's hard to do anything and hold onto him. He'll rub up against you but if you pet him he'll bite. I've tried petting him while feeding treats, but it only works while feeding treats. I guess it's just his way. He comes to me and wants to be held often though, especially if I've been gone.

    I bet he'll love it:)

I'm working with peaches right now, and so far they all taste like peach gummy rings (weird, but I love those). The ones I have are CAP Juicy Peach, CAP Yellow Peach, TFA Juicy Peach, INW Peach, and FA White Peach. They might require a longer steep than I'm used to for fruits before they taste more realistic and less candy-like, or it could be a quirk of my taste buds. I remember vaping TFA Juicy Peach years ago, and it tasted different then, so it's probably just me.

I've tried a bunch of different fruit flavors including TFA Juicy Peach and never made one I really liked. Now I use a mix of juicy peach, mango and papaya. It's just the job for me. Tastes like fruit, generic. My taste buds aren't finely tuned.

Those of you with the green banana flavor I am curious to hear your thoughts. I don't know if you're familiar with plantains but they are those green bananas that are more on the savory side used in many Spanish styled dishes (mofongo is my favorite). Ruthless Vapors use to have a Banana Chips flavored eliquid when I first started vaping that was really good. I think I was the only person buying it and it was soon discontinued. You could even taste the salt, which I think I might have learned how to do in an eliquid recently.

Charlie Noble released the recipe for a popular peanut butter flavored eliquid they discontinued and the recipe calls for one drop of saline solution per 10ml of mix. They claim it gives PB flavors more of an authentic flavor. I don't know if I could do it. lol I wonder if that's how Ruthless Vapors got the salty note in their banana chips flavored eliquid.

Would that even be safe? I mean Charlie Noble must have discontinued it for a reason.o_O

I've seen quite a few recipes that use saline. Only tried it once and it was too salty for my taste, but I might have measured it out wrong. You have to be sure to get pure sodium chloride with no other salts and no preservative.

I tried it in a dripper with a brass top. The salt reacted with the brass and the results weren't pleasant. Make sure you have a stainless tank.

I’ve never been tempted to try saline.
