The OOO cornbread is used in the low carb community for a mock cornbread. I plan on buying a bottle soon-ish for that purpose.
I can't afford to order anything right now. Significant other just lost his job. His job was eliminated. I'm going to be forced to go back to work. I'll need health care insurance despite being high risk for covid-19. A true catch 22.

I have no immunity so I haven't been able to work....
have you tried to apply for unemployment?
I just did and was thankfully accepted since I cannot at the moment physically look for a new job
I mean I'm still employed and they know this but I cannot physically go to work either and my job doesn't offer to work from home.
It's worth a shot anyways, what's the worst that can happen, they say no....but right now with covid I think they aren't really saying no

pft my apartments (they are income based) decided to raise my rent $300
now ok at the beginning of the year I got a promotion and had been working crazy hours since November....so I mean I knew it was only a matter of time before my apartment manager raised it....
but I haven't been able to work since March 15th.....I mean seriously, we couldn't have waited until after all this covid bs
and then I was worried because, while I had been approved for unemployment, they said I'd only be getting $98/week...like really
what is that going to pay? But I guess due to covid right now they are giving $600 + whatever they say you'll be getting....so that was a big relief, at least next months bills will now be paid

Man, I just woke up. I hurt, ALL OVER. I figured. Heh. I could PROBABLY do yoga again, but like, IDK. I am glad I let my alarm wake me up the husband wet to Tucson today. He told me he was gonna. I forgot. My MAIN objective is going to be to actually get my transcripts today, but like, I still won't finish an application because like, I can't work the scanner. I mean, I can when it's connected to the internet and I also can sometimes if like, plug in a USB port but I will have to try to remember.
Not gonna call for instructions because.... That always goes badly. I AM gonna try to be less feckless honestly though and finish up everything else and call IT and GET the dang stuff. But not yet, I'm still all droopy eyed.
IF I were super duper industrious I could a) mix or b) raid the perimeter of the outside of the house. The latter almost sounds easier man, but like IDK. I really want to attempt some bakery items too and that requires steeping. My stash is getting lower as I have not mixed in some time.
Ooh gotta find my marriage license and that's not happening the husband has it.. See? I'm gonna be worthless if he dies. Well, I guess I could rifle through his documents with more enthusiasm if I knew he was not returning to see the detritus. But anyway yeah, getting the sticky little documents in my fist is my MAIN concern at this point.

According to the Cares Act healthcare workers cannot apply for unemployment unless the job was downsized/laid off. I'm slowly buying my own PPE. I don't trust a cloth mask for working in rehab/LTC
It's good you qualified for unemployment! Please stay safe. I know how hard it is for immune compromised folks. I take chemo medication to suppress my immune system.
We will survive! I have no idea how long this pandemic will last but I'll have to work sooner or later.
Also I am sorry about the work thing. I am not in such a precarious position (yet) unless STD denies me, that would be a problem. There is no where else to work in this town. Etc. I hope it works out for you very seriously,

My significant other is getting unemployment! Money is not the main issue-its medical insurance and cost. I'll need it. He can use medicare since he is over 65 Sadly, I'm far away from retiring etc. I knew this day was coming but didn't expect it during a pandemic.

Just got the shipping notice from BCF. Out of 10 flavors, 7 are new. Not sure why I wanted INW Shisha Orange. Maybe it just sounded good even though I've done about nothing with orange.
