I have faith that you will make it work. You can accomplish it without a doubt.Would that it were that simple. It's a tentative job offer and then they "onboard you." That takes about 3 months and like, they investigate you. Like, they check you for felonies, talk to your neighbors, talk to your family members and they do it all in Federal Stealth. I have had it happen before for other jobs although Federal jobs are a bit scary because if you answer the questions wrong well, they really mess with you. Which is why I think I am going to have to resign (yes, at the end of my FMLA) but it's not worth 3 months of fighting with a disability company about like, uh, whether they will cover you. They don't like "fired for health reasons" so maybe it's good. IDK. I can just go to SSI I guess. That is a totally private thing, even for the Feds. Oh, I have to go for a physical to the VA in Tucson. I'm hoping this happens later. But, they seem in a rush. I may actually have to leave before the husband (again) to a whole new state while he cleans up here, IDK..
To be fair, SSDI has always treated me with the utmost of kindness. That is because they read my inpatient medical records and put me on "Full and complete discharge for the rest of my life." They were shocked when I went back to work so when I left my former job oh about 5 years away well, they were like, the speediest application ever, they were like, 'You cannot be without health insurance (gaps, you know, preexisting conditions) which is why I would have to march down to (or probably call I bet they are all working from home) DES and get Medicare while waiting for Medicaid because I can't have gaps. I am trying not to freak, I have until the end of June. Etc. If I don't get any form of disability we would qualify for food stamps. I am not proud though, that's fine with me. But, things work out.
Something will work and we have to terminate our lease here and we have NO actual clue what is going to happen when, including selling our house. The husband has by some magic like, paid the bills through the next two months, and I have a bit of savings to pay my consolidated debt because they ALSO don't like if you are fiscally "unsound" which means behind on anything. We are going to get (and fill) a shipping container with our belongings and send it there, it seems the cheapest (about 3 k) so yes, I will be borrowing money from my mom unless the house closes crazy fast and we make money (we should, I don't know how much.) The husband is going to the Insurance Commissioner about State Farm but it's not HUGE on our list. He has way more evidence to incorporate but we are just FRIED.
This is going to be a difficult move, but I believe it can be accomplished. I have to believe it and I DO believe it.

Good show?I’ve accomplished nothing today. I’ve been binge watching The last kingdom on Netflix. Time to get up and moving.
Good show?
What kind of show.?I’m really liking it.
I think it may be the chipset, but I'm not sure.
Hey, SMT, you know that Dreamsicle recipe you posted on the shiny thread? It calls for FA Vanilla Classic (Madagascar), which I don't have. I do, however, have CAP French Vanilla, CAP Simply Vanilla, DIYFS Holy Vanilla (v1), FA Vanilla Bourbon, Hangsen Vanilla, INW Shisha Vanilla (which you already suggest using to up the vanilla quotient), and TPA Vanillin. Any recommendations on which would sub best for Vanilla Classic? Mille grazie. My rather simple vanilla/cream...
FA Madagascar (vanilla classic) 3.5%
FA Vienna Cream 1%
FLV Cream 6-8 drops (it's strong flavor)
INW Shisha Vanilla 1%
It's nice by itself but also serves as a good base for many other flavors.
For a vanilla change-up/brightener I'll add 1% FW French Vanilla.
When I'm feeling like a darker earthy vanilla I'll swap the FA Madagascar for FA Vanilla Bourbon 3% and raise the Vienna cream to 1.5%.
There are other vanillas/creams/custards I swap in/out all the time.
I'm not into sweet juices so I generally don't use any sweeteners etc.. Besides creams can do that very nicely.
My taste buds puzzle me, too. When it comes to food, they're pretty discerning, but when vaping there are so many flavors I can taste only barely or not at all. It kind of drives me nuts.Posts like this make me realise how feeble my taste buds are. Like I've tried using various vanilla flavors and I really can't tell any difference. I generally throw some French vanilla and sweet cream or graham cracker in everything. I tried different amounts of them but it didn't seem to matter.
There are some flavors that really come through for me, like marzipan and ginger. That makes me think it's more complicated than just weak taste buds. I can't taste strawberry at all, that one is true for a lot of people. Fruit did nothing for me for a long time, they all seemed weak and tasteless, but now I'm starting to use a lot of fruit flavors. Especially Mango and Papaya. Part of the story is taste buds recovering from smoking but it's been 6 years for me so I should be past that by now. Maybe an expert in how taste buds work could explain it.
I just discovered raspberry, through trying Bronze's recipe. I'm loving the raspberry. Going to make a couple more mixes with it sometime soon.
Today I decided to start putting up the swimming pool. It goes in a fenced off area behind the garage which had turned into a jungle. Vines grew up the fences and spread out so I had to cut them down. Last year I didn't do anything with the area next to where the pool goes. The weeds were taller than me and assorted vines were growing through them. I cut down a bunch back there and got into poison ivy. Hauled the brush into the woods across the road. Tomorrow I have to go over the actual pool area. The tarp I laid down last fall got blown around so weeds grew where the pool sits. Need to rough up the surface and level it. I should do all that every year and it wouldn't get so bad but the last couple of years I was babysitting a 5 year old GGD and got behind on yard work. Right now I hurt all over and I've got ivy rashes on my hands and forearms. Even sitting in this chair hurts.
In other words, four 16-ounce glasses, so what got your doc into such a tizzy? Jeezum crow.Funny story, but true. Two years ago after I had routine bloodwork done my doctor called and asked "how much water do you drink a day". I drank approximately 4-6 16oz glasses p/day. She popped a major doctors cork! I got doctor scolded. Told me "that is way too much" and "drinking too much water can kill you".
I asked her "what am I supposed to do when I get thirsty". She said, take a small sip of water. Like that solves a major thirst situation. It doesn't. But I do drink less.
Who knew? I didn't. In fact after I got off the phone with her I looked it up and was stunned. Still am.
Google "drinking too much water can kill you".
ETA: Health authorities commonly recommend eight 8-ounce glasses, which equals about 2 liters, or half a gallon.
Unfortunately, also expensive. Both the initial purchase and the upkeep.Yeah,I could go for that toy.
I checked it out and I'll watch it next.I’m not sure the year but it’s about Danes invading England.
Wonky is most definitely a word and one of my favs.It started acting wonky(is that a word), then just stopped working.
