OMG we just signed a contract for 25K over the asking price! We had four offers this am. I really hope we did the right thing (I had to let the husband finally decide, he did most of the work, twice. LOL.

We kinda wanted to sell it to this newly engaged couple. They wrote us a letter though and unfortunately it contained the phrase "Fur baby" although it was otherwise sweet. It was also the lowest offer by a fair amount.

Sometimes you got to be grim and ruthless. I have to think of my OWN new home and all the work the hsubeand put into this one and me.

Anyway hopefully it goes smoothly. Buying a house makes you schizophrenic but selling one gives you severe depression and anxiety.

I think we will be okay on the appraisal but we will have to see I guess. I mean everything is BRAND new and there are similar comps in our neighborhood.

No cop car needed.:D. But the guy might be a cop for all I know.

    Anna
How long does this appraisal take? You all packed yet?

I just exercise to try to maintain some level of stamina. I’ve just about given up on getting rid of my stomach fat. I just can’t or won’t do the no/low carb thing. I know that even if I do it for a little while that I won’t stick with it and to me if I can’t make a lifetime change then it’s just another fad diet. I also have arthritis in at least one leg and the exercise helps keep my legs from aching.
I don’t like low carb plans. It can’t be maintained long term. I believe in the macros and it worked for me. Our body is like a machine and it needs to be fed in a balanced way. I lost over 80 lbs (I let myself go...just stress and no time to focus). I used HIIT and cardio and lifting weights with weights being the most important for fat loss. I’m no expert but I learned a lot along the way. I’ve gained some back but I’m trying to get focused back on me. I logged back in to myfitnesspal to track macros so here we go.

I’ve got to cut grass and I don’t want to.

@FranC you really want me to get to WV I think. LOL no we are not packed yet, the packing fairies have not arrived to pack us. About half our stuff is packed. The other half we need to figure out what goes in the cars, and what goes in the pod. We really want to do a pod.; I REALLY do not want to drive a truck towing a car cross country to like, freaking, unload it into a storage facility.

Truck gonna be like 3 k all told maybe a bit more. I told my mom that, I told her we might like get a pod but we would pay the difference.

I did tell her the offer I accepted. I also told her I'd be happy to pay her back slowly over time but that the house money was sacred for our next, retirement house and she better not try to get her sticky little mits on it. She gets like that sometimes. She will be jealous, I bought that sucker for 70 k during the "Obama times" and we paid it down to 58 by the time we are selling it so we should make a tidy profit but the REAL estate goddess is FINALLY going to get her OWN sticky mitts on fixing a house and making MONEY. Because, you should have SEEN it when I bought it OMG.

Hi all, I hope all is well with all of you. Once again, I took a long break from posting and there is a reason for that. Anyway, I am posting today for opinions on Aegis mods. I have two Solos and I do like them. I am thinking of buying a dual battery Aegis mod and am having trouble deciding between the Legend and the X. I love my Asmodus Minkin V2s but keep having problems with the magnets on the battery doors. It would be one this if I could just replace the magnets but the plastic that holds the magnets in place is breaking. I have had this happen on four Minikins and am just tired of it. I am not hard on mods so don't really understand. Since the Aegis mods are supposedly indestructible, maybe that is the way to go. The question is - which one?

I know there are opinions here and I await. LOL

IMO the pod is the best idea.

I have Solos, and the X, but no Legend to compare with the others. I like the durability of the Aegis line in general, but the X has a large screen, and I think that would be the part to fail on me first. The Legends also have some nice limited editions with nicely stitched skins on them that I haven't seen for the X.

That screen on the X is giving me pause and I think the Legend is prettier in the pictures. I like pretty mods but am willing to give up some beauty for durability.

Can't go wrong with either but I have the original legend and I like it, @PJReid .

Yes, I want you to GIT. You have the chance of finding a house if you have enough time.

NO, Ms. @FranC we do NOT have a chance. OUR closing is not until September and SURE we can put a contingent offer on a house we want (means, if our house sale goes through we buy yours. People REALLY don't like those offers and they get dropped all the time; Additionally, it is going to take about 60 days to close on anything we want to buy like .PERIOD. It's mot like they let you live there in the meantime, either. I start work August 24th. There is no way.

However, the husband and I are so overwhelmed and relieved we are doing NOTHING today. Nada.

LOL Well the husband has to do the spuds report. I don't. I might look at house porn. It's possible.

My vapes all need serious attention,. too. It's annoying. Ooh I set up my dicodes charging station. It's pretty neat. I should probably be packing but some days you say, F it.

Are you looking for single or dual battery mod?

Dual - I have several single battery mods that I am happy with. Truthfully, that is probably enough for me but we want things, you know?

To me it's a coin flip, the X is a wee bit smaller, I'd be happy with either. You may have a hard time finding either in stock.

Eightvape has the X for a good price and I found the Legend at Element Vape.

    .

I just finished cutting grass, put down Sevin granules on the lawn, and sprayed our crabapple trees. I’ve gotten more bad insect bites this year than I ever had and we always get Japanese Beatles on the crabapple trees. That will be my exercise for the day. We are going to the in-laws house for my FiLs bday. He’ll be 86 tomorrow and is still driving and very active.

Maybe consider the Aegis Max? It’ll fit a 21700 and isn’t quite as large as the legend or the X. I have all of them. I mean the entire Aegis line except for the boost plus which just became available in the US. If I had to pick between the legend and the X then I’d probably pick the X just because of hand feel.
