Good morning random folks :)Have you any plans today?
I have plans to read a book I bought like 4 years ago, but haven't got around to reading it. I typically just read books on my kindle, but this one is a paper copy. It's supposed to rain and storm again, so perfect weather for books.

I really prefer paper copies of books when reading. I have never enjoyed trying to read a book on a kindle type of device. I don't feel as immersed in the story if I am reading it off a screen for some reason.

I move around a lot, and I read a lot so it's much more convenient than lugging around my library with me. I understand where you're coming from, and agree somewhat. There's nothing like an actual paper book, but I don't feel that way with the kindle not being as immersed. My brother and my mother feel like you do. I didn't think I would like it, but I have rarely read any paper copies of books in the last 8 years. I do like to have actual paper copies of my digital ones though. Some of the books I own are so cumbersome and behemoths, like my walking dead compendiums. They are such a hassle to handle, but it's beautifully printed. Having it on my kindle is kind of convenient, but it's just not the same experience as the paper copy.. and it's a hassle converting it into the proper format for kindle. There's computer wizardry that needs to happen.

One bonus of a kindle is Project Gutenberg.. it's thousands and thousands of classic books with expired copyrights in kindle or e-reader format for free.

I don’t eat fish. I’ve never liked it. It just stinks to me. Bleck. I will get nauseous walking by the seafood section at the store.

Like someone else said...good, fresh fish should not "stink". Definitely don't buy it if it does. If/when you can get some that's fresh, you might just like it.

Sort of a funny related story - An old student of mine (now in her mid-40's) comes to Florida sometimes and visits me, while she's in town staying with relatives. Since she was a teenager she's always hated fish, because of the smell, and wouldn't ever eat it.

Last time she visited, I'd been to Alaska again, had gone fishing, and brought back 70+ pounds of halibut. Was going to fix it 1 night for dinner, and I invited her, which I'd done before. This time she agreed to give it a try. I was cutting it up, beer batter coating it, and deep frying it...all while she sat less than 2 feet away on the other side of the counter. She said, "Oh my gosh! I'm this close to it, and I can't even smell that fish!" I told her that was because it wasn't at all like what she'd get at a store.

At dinner, she put just 1 piece on her plate at first, with some cole slaw, new potatoes, and corn on the cob. Then she had 2 more pieces, and 2 more after those. She absolutely loved it! After dinnner, she told me if she'd known it was going to be that great...she'd have come over to try it years ago when I'd first invited her. We ended up having dinner again before she left town, and yep...it was more halibut, at her request!

So, it might surprise you, too, if you ever try some really "good" fish, that absolutely doesn't stink.

The seafood section in any grocery store stinks because they are cooking it. Nasty! I’ve tried all fish and shrimp and oysters and crab fresh from the ocean and it all stinks to me. I grew up on oceans while my Dad was in the Navy and I was the only one of us who just couldn’t stand it. I’ve tried it all but it’s a no go. Some people just don’t like certain foods. I had a friend who would barf if he even looked at mayonnaise. Seafood is not my thing. I don’t like chicken either. Just disgusting. And since I have to cook so much beef for my son I’m just over it. I did eat farm raised catfish for a while but I can live without it. But there is not a veggie I dislike...broccoli being my least favorite but I can still eat it. I’m big on texture of food too.

Kanger Subtank Mini is one of the best tanks ever created--and so versatile. I've used it with Kanger coils, with Aspire BVC coils, and with their RBA coil, of course. It just works.

I’ve still got a couple of those sitting in storage with a couple clone top tanks. I bought a couple hundred of the Clapton coils when they were on clearance for pennies. I’m not currently using them but figured it was cheap insurance for the deeming regulation coming. I also picked up 20 rba kits for my old crown tanks. Those were my favorites for a long time.

I think hitt and most have the nail polish cases. Just like that but the slots are a bit bigger.

It’s hard to tell from the pictures but I bought some at JO Ann and some at Menards.

I have a couple Crown too. Some of the old school stuff is still great.

I don’t like any condiments and can’t stand the smell of mayonnaise. I do like seafood though. We used to go to a Chinese place that had a good scallop dish. They closed a long time ago.
