Good morning random folks Have you any plans today?
I guess I didn't plan it, but now it's part of my plans today to fix the faucet when I get home from work. And maybe get around to my front brakes. I really need to mix up those NETs. And try to squeeze in some grocery shopping too.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning mixers. The mid town chestnut that pops extracted is the most realistic net that I've ever had. It tasted like tobacco to me. Of course without the combustion part. Holy cow it's good.

Good morning everyone. I am doing shopping and hell today, once I wake up (I can't remember if @MomC has asked her "What are you doing today" question yet, but I will answer it. I woke up early. That's not great but it was also not super early and I went to bed early.

Mexico and the TVs are collecting themselves in their living room. Soon, I will be relegated to my study (couch and every thing but I don't mind.

I sincerely hope on truck day, they just load while I clean behind.

I have frozen chicken livers (they are like gold, found em in Tucson) I really need to fry them up a liver will make a great lunch. LOL.

Oh my Gosh, I got a call from my work before 7 (AZ time really is brutal) but like, it was my "SW mentor" I guess she was all flipping out about the "Extra week" which was not really an extra week at all. She was like, "We have just had bad luck with out of state people asking for an extension then taking a different job."

I was like, '"Sigh. This isn't really an extra week, it's just my recruiter was out and I went through the sad and sorry tale, and I was like, "We just sold our house, we have reserved a truck, would you like a copy of the truck rental agreement would that reassure you...." She was like, "No, no, I just wanted to check blah blah blah."

I was like, "Yes, I understand it takes time and money to background check and credential people and yes, we have a social work code of ethics. I would NOT do that I'm sorry. I just wouldn't..I mean, I have neve taken a job and continued looking for other work, in my humble opinion that is completely unethical because it's not like I know I won't pass or whatever. Trust me, we are LABORING every day to get there." I also asked her about medical care and explained I would have called her but like, I wrote down her phone number wrong.

My husband came in and was like, "OMG is that your WORK?" kind of incredulously. I was like nodding my head at him.

I get it. People do that stuff. I do not do that stuff.

Oh, I am gonna. Also, technically my doc can' t dump me, even out of state. He even has some responsibility to help find me a new doc, so like, there is that. It's called "continuity of care" and in psychiatry it is particularly important because you just can' t do that to people. So even if we are not there, he is required to help.

I don't know how much help I WANT but like, we will see.

Yeah IDK why it's "Birthday Cake" but like, it is. It is SUPER sweet I don't think I'd vape it either. Or eat more than one small piece. It's a pretty small piece but it's pretty satisfying.

I went to one store and they were OUT . I got Unicorn cake instead I mean, I was like, "Can you go wrong with unicorn I don't think so."

Turns out you can. It's strawberry cake and I sort of have a feeling, if I ever eat strawberry flavored cake (so far so good, I haven't) starting with the 2 dollar version is probably NOT the place to start.

But, then I found more birthday cake and I bought a bunch of it.

Oh, I know the flavor exists. It's just that saying something tastes like birthday cake means nothing to me. Which birthday cake? The one on my tenth birthday, when a coworker of my father's crashed the festivities and made everything rather awkward? Or perhaps the one I smeared all over the tray of my high chair and my face when I was two?

    And so forth.

My Mom always makes us our favorite cake for our birthdays. My middle brother's is homemade peanut butter cake, his wife's is homemade strawberry cake, and mine is boxed german chocolate. Wait a minute...why do I get BOXED. I'm not loved as much....WHAAAAA. ;) But my older brother gets no cake so there's that. :p

Well, I don't get why "Unicorn cake" is strawberry either. That's why I did not read the package closely.

I was unaware Unicorns were made of Strawberry, but maybe Sara Lee knows something I DON'T. I mean maybe they have a UNICORN FARM where they grow Unicorns and turn them into cake. They are everywhere. Almost as prolific as actual strawberries.

You know.... these uh, cheap cakes. I am pretty sure they are all mostly made of sawdust. They can be satisfying though.
