Nah, I know how it gets, man. It's like, annoying. Time, dates, I do get
@FranC being like, when again?
OH THE SS LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was a real joy.
I am in this nuts situation where I have like, no meds or insurance or anything but like, I CAN'T because my husband disenrolled me from SS Medicaid LAST APRIL only they keep saying it is "processing" which is kind of bogus and it is also the wrong county for my address now so I am essentially paying for something I am not receiving and well, NO one is doing anything.
I swear, this lady started in on "COVID" this and "COVID" that and I finally got ....... She also kept trying to say I was trying to get private insurance like NOW and well, I am NOT. I would have gotten Medicare in case I got hospitalized or something happened, for what, 2 months as a safety net. But, I am not able to do that currently so I am just stuck with a few med bills that aren't so bad thanks to goodrx.com and a couple psych appointments. I don't LIKE not having insurance but I know what to do, how to do it, etc.
I finally took over from the poor husband I was like, "Listen, Lady, I don't want to hear COVID out of your mouth one more time because it is IRRELEVENT. First, you work for the SSA. You are as capable at doing your job from home as you are here. I KNOW this is true. You have the same software, you are looking up the same things, and you are telling me you got the disenrollment form IN APRIL before COVID was a glimmer in ANYONE'S eye, so it's quite clear this was purposeful." Then, I was like, "ALSO, you seem to keep thinking I want private insurance. LET US TAKE PRIVATE INSURANCE OFF THE TABLE I do not want it, what I DO want is for my Cochise county Medicare to be activated, so that I am not UNINSURED. That needs to happen immediately."
Then I was like, "You do not appear to be listening to my husband. PLEASE, repeat back to me what I just said." I kept making her repeat it back until it was almost word for word. Then I said, "It is very interesting to note the fact that Medicare fraud appears to be being perpetrated-- by Medicare and SSA. You do realize there are penalties for that, personal penalties, and whomever does not take their job seriously and continues to charge me for a service that I cannot use is GUILTY of such fraud, and we have the right to report all parties as well as initiate a civil suit."
Then I made her repeat THAT back. She was just such a snot. She was like, "Okay, I am not allowed to mention COVID or private insurance let me note that in your file." That is when I got the scary eyes and I turned into SW Bit

and was like, "I want you to know you could be part of a suit and named personally and if needed I can and will sue you and I have the means to do so."
I made her repeat that back too, then got her name and ID number. You gotta be convincing. Anyway a supervisor is supposed to call in the next 48 hours but I think they do some recording at 2 am because I have never actually GOTTEN a supervisor just like, odd messages appearing.
I mean, after a while, you just get fed up. The "Medicare" I have is for Pima county and even if I COULD I wouldn't change my address for them because I refuse to pay almost a thousand dollars for a service I did not use and was disenrolled from several times by my husband who is my rep payee which is kind of funny because I think I almost wound up as his. It's just...weird.
I don't think I'd get much money from them anyway because of my private disability but MAN it's a pain and annoying. I'm trying to think healthy and non-accidental thoughts because that would kinda suck. I was expecting it from the Douglas office because I have never heard one good thing about them. Sigh.
I am doing the right thing though and just CHILLIN for a bit until I have to get in my car and go to Bisbee. Thinking happy thoughts.
It's kinda fun when the social work fire lights up, but meh, IDK. I just want to get out of here, NOT pay for insurance from the government which I don't HAVE (I find that very Kafka/Marxist by the way) and etc. That's all
