In food news, I was waiting for SIL to have to fill the BBQ tank so he can cook some tenderloins. He filled it yesterday so steak on the menu for Sat.

I have hardly mixed anything in weeks. I got so distracted testing new stuff for reviews that I've been neglecting my mixing. I got lucky and saw the orange tart recipe Julia Su posted on FB and like it quite a bit so have been using a lot of that. I think besides the nets, I have a couple mixes steeping that I could probably try soon. I don't come up with many original recipes and haven't come up with one in quite a while. I'm finally all caught up on reviews so maybe I can spend some time going through recipes and maybe mix something new soon.

I've looked through a little. I need to take a closer look. I've also been thinking about mixing one of my coffee recipes again. I remember liking the one with caramel butter in it.

It seems weird to switch back to using my own mods and tanks after weeks of testing new stuff. I can't remember which one it is but I got an NRG tank with the armour pro that I won and really like that tank with the .5 GT ccell coils that I stocked up on. I brought a solo with nrg tank, jac dna75 with zlide 4ml and a kroma r with zeus single coil rta today. I'm still not loving the kroma r. I have to turn it up higher than other mods and the output just isn't the same. If I had a test jig, I'd hook it up and take oscilloscope readings of the output of the kroma and compare it to the solo. I could probably make something. I already have an oscilloscope at work.
All this BBQ talk is making me hungry, I'm going to defrost some chicken for this afternoon. I tried something new (to me) last week, cajun butter injector seasoning in chicken wings, with a Jamaican Jerk seasoning rub. Turned out pretty decent, but I want to try something different today. I think I'll mix up a little soy sauce, brown sugar, and BBQ sauce for the outside and brush it on a few times as it's grilling. My stomach is growling just thinking about it lol.
I went to fill the Xros pod I've been using and the 10ml bottle leaked at the neck and ran down my hand. I've been rinsing and reusing the same 10ml bottles for too long. I finally broke down and ordered a new 100 pack of plastic bottles and added on 15 glass 15ml bottles. Heartland was actually cheaper than dropperbottles.com by the time you add in shipping. Also I could only find 100 packs of the glass bottles on DB and didn't want that many.

I just wanted to say hi, been here a while and there is something wrong with my phone not sure what but like I think they lead lined the building. Not exactly a huge deal but it is annoying.
We all got here safe although it does also seem like (me especially) were all trying to die along the trip. Which was so epic it will need to be done in installments because I need WAY more coffee and also to like do some stuff like (Day 2: Husband hits parked truck in the parking lot then drives away in that RATHER hurried way where you are like, "I am not sure I hit something but I am NOT stopping to find out." Well I saw it so I left her a message and like, she called later and we talked for 45 minutes but she was really nice neither here than there. I am glad I PHYSICALLY saw it because it was Walmart and like, they have cameras and like, well she WORKED there and like, it was her only vehicle she was really freaked out we would not deal with it and I was like, (firmly) "No, we will pay for that" I don't understand people who hit parked cars like, doing that.
In any case day 3 our Motel was a study in Movies Like Steven King abo Hotels where eventually, I was laying on the (rather brightly and 70 ish patterned hotel with no idea about my room number or like ANYTHING muttering "Redrum redrum" to my self and waiting to see toddlers on tykes. It was SO bad (but I will get to that) I may have to REVIEW it on the internet and that review would consist of "If you want the Authentic Steven King Hotel Experience, go here." Couse it was in MA and they are ALL FREAKING NUTS ANWYAY.
So like the next day I decided *I* would choose the hotel and I had NO IDEA what I was doing. It looked cheap and serviceable and was in KY some weird town somewhere. When I got there it was HORRIFYING and like, I should not even have gotten out of the CAR but I could not FACE more driving dude, and like, I hopped out in the vain hope

I'm glad the moving horrors are over for now. Have you settled somewhere yet or still looking? I also forgot the date you have to start work??
