Good luck with the truck DL. I hate leaks on vehicles and tanks. I had a zeus rta yesterday doing a weird intermittent leaking thing. I think I may have overfilled it or something. Anyway it's good now. I've never had a zeus leak.

Good morning like, randomizers, I slept okay but I went to bed late. I need to start going to bed on time. @Territoo thanks for the advice re: Benadryl. I took it, but probably like more 100 mg. Also 20 mg of melatonin. I found a measly ambien so I split it that is what I will do for a while. Then I will split that dose and then stop.

I'm kind of groggy actually I think I can reduce the additional things a bit. This so, so much fun a week before my new job but I suppose it is best I am finding out now. Blegh.

I will email my doc once I reach coherence.

I don't want to do anything else, actually,. but my husband is likely to make me go look at some apartments sometime today. If we like them, hell, even if we don't we will probably apply today.

I REFUSE to pay an extra 224 per month for the dog that is almost THREE K extra the homeowner collects to "maybe give back."

I'm sorry even *I* am not capable of that much damage.

Okay lots of coffee I think.. Man.

Anna, I know what you are going through concerning the meds. There were times when I had no insurance and couldn't afford them. I once had a crazy MHMR doc say I was on too much and refuse to prescribe them, even though my regular psych was prescribing them. I had plenty as far as written prescriptions, but no money for them. Two weeks later I was an unholy mess, but the MHMR quack still refused. The most he agreed to was possibly consulting my regular doc, but that never happened. Within a week, I was in the hospital. The first thing the hospital doc did was restart all my meds. I got better and was discharged. The MHMR quack wasn't going to continue the meds, but I got lucky and got on Medicaid and dropped MHMR all together. I'm now on Medicare, so I no longer have to worry about that. I have lots of Ambien and lorazepam that I wish I could sent to you over the internet. I recommend you get some Benadryl for sleep, 50mg. Start looking for a new psych right away. It may take some time to find one that's accepting new patients.

The US health insurance system is a bad joke. The rest of the world just scratches their heads in bemusement that we allow this to be done to us. Two years after I was diagnosed with COPD the insurance company I got my cover from at work decided to stop covering COPD meds. Getting them without insurance would have cost my entire paycheck. By chance that happened a few months after I quit smoking and I survived. I could get them now since I'm on Medicare and beyond the reach of the insurance crime syndicate but I don't need them now.

I added some TFA Philippine Mango to my latest batch of mango fruit mix. Not a huge difference but it did make it better. I had a sample bottle of the Philippine Mango from way back but for some reason I never got around to using it.

This is more sinister than "not able to afford my meds." I can AFFORD them.

It is, to the best of my knowledge, connected to the Affordable care act and slowly phased in. I mean.... I'm sure other politicians added and piled on, but there is now FEDERAL physician board tracking regarding prescription abuse, what you can prescribe, and you can lose your license if your board doesn't like your practices and/or YOU.

This is why my doc has been like a rabid squirrel about my meds. I am on way more controlled substance drugs than ANY board is gonna like. But, he also KNEW trying to reduce the a LOT would be chronically unfair to me in general. YEAH, I take 40 mg of valium a day but it took me over a MONTH to get used to taking enough to stop my fine motor tremor and I felt like I was in the valley of the dolls. Then, homeostatsis was reached and all was well. I was not anxious BEFORE that, but I was not anxious AFTER that either.

Unfortunately, I can tell a psychiatrist until I am blue in the face like, "I take this for my fine motor tremor" and they can be like, "F you."

Before that they didn't care so much because they weren't worried about losing their JOBS.

So more regulation in action THANK YOU OBAMA I swear, if I had the ability I wuodl find him and kick him in the nose, balls, and both kneecaps and as he was on the ground writhing in pain I would hold some morphine over his head and like, tell him to bark like a seal and also he could have it in three days and I would have to run him through the Federawl databsaase and consult all his phsyicians even the one who delivered him.

    Just kidding government!

It is not like my doc does NOT want me to be stable he SO does. He just also wants to finish his practice until retirement, etc. I happen to be on some drugs EVERYONE hates.

Which is why I am going to give most of them up. I just can't take the aggravation. If it looks like I am going to the hospital I will evaluate whether doing so merits killing myself, in which case I will kill myself. After my last hospitalization the idea of death instead merits serious consideration.

In any case, once I have insurance I will see.

Morning, mixers, randomizers and more ;)

"Only" 95 here yesterday, points nearby did break 100. Not a good time in the PNW... said to be about 10 degrees lower today and tomorrow, then down to humane temps...

But I’m young! I’ve got a lot of vaping years left! If I changed a dropin every week, which sounds about right for max VG and high volume vaping, I have enough coils for 23 years.

    :matrix:

I will not ask @Katya to do any math. ;) Not too bad considering I plan on living for at least 40 more years. And what if I marry and he starts vaping?...I’ll need extra.

    :pervy:

Well, if he's a vaper who hasn't prepped, he's not smart enough for you!

The US health insurance system is a bad joke.

Well, that's the whole problem, it's an INSURANCE system, not a health CARE system. It's always been the profits to the insurance outfits that drives costs and care. And costs (i.e. bottom line) come first. :-x

I agree. The health insurance industry has gone to crap. I pay several times what I did when I started with my company many years ago and they hardly cover anything. Everything has a copay or deductible before the company pays much of anything besides a physical or a well child check up. My wife has chronic migraines and has tried many different medicines and treatments. If the company that makes it wasn't giving it to us for free then we couldn't afford the monthly injections she gets. Even with insurance it would be 5-600 a month. Not to get into politics but ever since obamacare went into effect, my weekly premiums have gone from around $35 a week to over 150 a week and it seems like they go up every year.

Again, thank the Affordable care act (and I have some good friends it TOTALLY helped actually) not the Act itself (Relating to insurance anyway) But EVERY LAST PIECE OF FREAKING PORK ATTACHED including the increases the drug companies asked for.

Yes, insurance has been steadily increasing but it was nothin.5 g like the HUGE JUMPS you saw after Obama care. I worked a job I hated for like 5 years because I COULD NOT find another one that could pay me enough to offset insurance.

I knew families working 3 jobs or more to pay for their insurance increases.

I depend on insurance and I take the kind of meds (like many people) you can't stop. When I know I am moving or otherwise going to be in the hole, I hoard meds like I take 3.5 lithium pills a day but my doc prescribes me more type thing. It's easier. Etc.

Yeah I need a pdoc and a doc as soon as possible. I am still thinking that guy in MD. He does not "participate" in the affordable care act. I'm not quite sure what that means I should call. But today is a bit rough. I need to call my own pdoc first and that means like figuring out the Krogers pharmacy address and stuff.

HOWEVER, 22 years ago (and yes it was Cadillac insurance I was working in genetics but STILL, I paid ONE 5 dollar copay my first OBGYN visit for my kid and that was IT. NO other copays whatsoever everything was COVERED.

My sis paid 10K in copays to have her second child.

It's criminal. But licensing is getting more expensive gotten pay for all that fancy electronic monitoring and GOD FORBID any doctor get away with prescribing ONE too many benzo and so we pay for increased oversight there. ;Increased malpractice insurance.

The insurance companies certainly fuel it but the government is NOT helping.

    Anna

Meanwhile insurance company profits continue to skyrocket.

So I've been noticing the lit dynamite and other things in the Bizarro comics. So I looked it up and found these explanations. There are 5 symbols in this one comic. I found them all. :D

I haven't had health insurance for about 7 years now. I make too much for obamacare, but I don't make enough for barebones private insurance. If I get hurt, I hope it's on the job. Health insurance in the U.S. is indeed an utter joke, a bad joke. So I could pay $300-400 a month, just to have the privilege of "health insurance" and have it cover absolutely nothing?

I did a search on Trulia for rentals (single family home, apartment, townhouse, etc.) in Clarksburg, under $900/month, pet friendly (dog), etc. Here are 6 that fit that criteria. I didn't click on any individually to go see pics, specs, etc., but thought I'd link you to them anyway. Maybe 1 of those will work for you.

Access to this page has been denied.

I don't understand why it says access to this page has been denied....cause when you hover over the link...it shows the exact URL of the search results I got.
Wow moving at this time seems insane

I miss having the sliding fee scale at this small hospital in MN. Every time I went to the doctor, whether for prescription cold medicine, or an ER visit with about 40+ stitches and some painkillers, I don't remember it being expensive at all. No insurance necessary

I just use a sharpie pen. Next time cross it out and use the sharpie again third time I just use a new bottle (but I have this massive collection of bottles from this "mystery box" deal... 40 bottles of 0 mg juice for $5) I agree masking tape sucks. I also use the sharpie pen on my collection of empty "mini-bar" vodka bottles (but then again, I am crazy but also frugal)
Go to stationary dept at grocery store or Walmart. PU some sticky color Dots & Create a simple Color Code Chart for your Flavors If I come up with 3- 4 Good Tasting Vapes I'll be Happy. Light CIG Tobacco with a hint of Pina Colada

I pay over $530 per month for medical and dental for both of us. That is my portion and does not include the even larger portion my company pays. It's good insurance though. But very expensive. They give us three options and I always choose the mid-range option since I want to be able to pick my doctors. It's in the rules that I have to be covered by insurance whether it's my company's or another outside insurance like if I had a husband who covered us.

This is a reason I want to switch careers, for health dental and vision.. but the pandemic might make that quite difficult for me for quite some time. I'm grateful I have a job, a pretty decent one at that, but just no health insurance plans or 401k or anything like that. I'm on my own.
