Me and the husband have this great um, print of some artist I forget who but he's quite entertaining. We got given one as a wedding gift and it says.... "He loved her for almost everything she was..." And then this gigantic monster finger" and it said, "He very good with figures.... and she decided that was good enough to let him stick around for a very long time."

I found another not too long ago at Goodwill and it said, "Tied together by so many complicated invisible things, it would take too long to explain to anyone else."

Yeah, I joke about the husband he is usually great, he infuriates me occasionally, but like we also have a saying:

Making two people very happy rather than making four people very, very miserable for going on 17 years now... Yes, you are welcome."

You get a Russian/Australian convict cross... Well, when my husband first met my sister's husband they got to chatting about us and how Nut balls we were (I was having a Time.) My sister's husband was like, 'Oooh… you got the winner there, I see." My husband was like, "Uh yeah things can be difficult sometimes but when she's not ape .... she's really sweet." My sister's husband said, "No, I meant it, you got the WINNER. I can see that. Her sister is this stubborn the entire TIME."

LOL, poor guy. They had the sweetest little girl EVER and my BIL was like, "OH thank God," but then they got the male version of the Russian/Australian and the son/father pair had do a bunch of family therapy per, BIL, "So I do not STRANGLE him."

My BIL also came up with my favorite phrase ever I think my sis was in bed complaining about getting up at 5 am to go to boot camp or like Pilates or whatever it was. BIL turned to her and said, "Yes, that sounds to me like a YOU problem." He then rolled over and went to sleep.

My family are a bit.... eclectic. My little brother never wants to date again and CERTAINLY no kids. I was like, "Better watch out, that is when it happens." He was like, "No. I can't convince my damn architect (he is building a steel frame home) I DON"T WANT a hall bathroom."

I just kind of mildly said, "Well, not having a hall bathroom is a great way to NOT date, if I know you because I saw your bathroom and how you kept it in Tucson. So, if that is what you need right now, why not make the Architect do what YOU want since it's your home and if you ever change your mind and you know want...female company well it's a steel frame house well, it's not like it isn't EASILY changed there are NO loadbearing walls."

He was like, "Oooh right." I was like, "You want me to talk to the Architect for you? I am married to one who is also an engineer and they NEVER shut up about what they think YOU need." LOL.

I am happy you guys are happy. I'm sure she will be happy. I always let the husband buy as many new cars as he wants, and early ON he went through like 3 cars one year. LOL.

The only time I got mad was when he was moaning about them really rare but fast Acura sports cars that were insanely ugly but fast (he bet and beat a guy in a Porsche once on a single lane each direction road.... It was because he'd been casing the road and it was winding and like what looked like a TERRIBLE blind corner actually did not have to be because there were no feeder streets if you looked 2 miles ahead." The guy called the husband suicidal and insane, and I concurred. I was like, "Yeah that still doesn't sound safe."

Anyway he was all .....in' and moaning (it was a snowy winter and he wanted to like, have an SUV) about it and I was like, "GO trade it in." So he returned (we were living up one of the feeder streets to Randallstown Road and he went to the very, ah, black and also like what are those scammy sellers called I forget and traded in that lovely sportscar for the worst LEMON ford Explorer of all time. I was like, "YOU DID WHAT? YOU DID WHAT? YOU DID NOT BARGAIN? YOU DID NOT BRING ME? I WOULD HAVE PUT THEM IN LINE."
He was like, "But with what?" I was like, "Mah ..... Mah tongue Mah logic. They would have admitted the guy traded it in with THAT amount of miles on it in and in that shape because it was a lemon. YOU SUCK."

We did have like the 4 wheel drive mechanism which is KIND OF WHY YOU buy an SUV fail like 3 times in a row before he agreed to trade it in for an Escape. Those were great cars (not the battery ones, the V6 ones.) I miss that car. Let me clarify I miss the ESCAPE from the EXPLORER.

I was like "Husband, you KNOW about cars like WHAT POSSESSED YOU?" He was like, "I gots no idea."

Now, we buy cars together. LOL.
Maybe not that Mazda rocket SUV I one day shall have, but I am usually pretty good at BUYING cars, just not crashing them and losing the one that one time. LOL..

Unfortunately (even though I think it would be a great thing to do ) there really isn't any incentive to do this (not much profit from it)

Well, IMO, there was plenty of incentive to do it!

(1) Many people bought a huge amount of his eliquids just to help him out when his business was failing and going to close, and he seemed to be really down in the dumps.

(2) Most of those people had been supporting his business as regular customers for years, spreading the word to others about his eliquids (free advertising for him).

(3) A man's word, if he had any integrity...used to be worth it's weight in gold. So if it meant anything to him...he'd have done what he said he would.

As far as there being "not much profit from it" (sharing his recipes) - He'd already made a ___ton of profit from many people, when they were buying his eliquids for years! They definitely weren't inexpensive to buy!

Also, IMO, when doing something kind for/to others..."what's in it for me"...shouldn't even be a consideration! It wouldn't have "cost" him a penny to share the recipes. Yet to those who'd supported him and would've loved them...they'd have meant a great deal, and I'm not talking money-wise.

ETA: By the way, I never was a customer of his, so I have "no skin in that game". I just remember reading how disappointed people were, how they'd rallied to buy large amounts of his eliquids to help him, etc. How he handled the situation really surprised and let down many of those people.

I just got a call with my youngest daughter. She got a bad speeding ticket tonight and swears she wasn’t going as fast as they said. I told her she should go to court for it.
Did they give her the option of driving school? My son just did it for his first ever ticket. No ticket on his record now. It was supposed to be a 4 hour class on a Saturday but they let them go after a couple of hours.

If the cop used radar that won’t work.

That's certainly not unheard of, I've had it happen to me also and I did go to court.

UM I CAN via the use of metaphors and whatnot and asking her to marinate your meat is NOT the fastest way out of the dog house. Also, any sort of Mexican food ideas.....Well, IDK. I'd be like "Fine" but I would not promise unbridled forgiveness or even ANY forgiveness.

You would just have to wait until I was good and ready. I certainly totally realize that um, I'm not the nicest spouse or whatever, but like WHAT YOU NEEED TO SINCERELY DO IS IMPRESS UPON HER THAT IT COULD BE DEEMING ANY SECOND FOR REALS THIS TIME.

If she has been paying attention, she'll be like, "You started saying that in 2018."

HOWEVER, if she is a logical sort start reading all the vape closure letters and make it sound TRAGIC and also like it is your way to keep America going For the Two of you.

I like logic if it makes sense to ME. I know it makes DESPERATE sense to my husband that I have all the nicotine I need AND MORE. I don't even have to ask. Course, he's a a dude he really IS logical.

I don't know how bad hers was but I got one a few years ago for 29 in a 15mph school zone. Motorcycle cop, no kids any where around. I thought that was bad, but everyone who showed up tp court and pleaded guilty just had to pay the fine and it didn't go on my record. Maybe she can do something like that, but I hope it's not THAT bad.

I don't see how she can fight it really, as cops are deemed to be experts in judging speed - and that's if they don't have radar. You'll probably have to pay a hefty fine.

I had something similar happen, twice
1 was in another state and how the heck was I supposed to know that they didn't have speed limit signs, they painted them on the street...like wtf who does that? so I assumed the speed limit was 40 and a cop pulled me over because it was only 25....after explaining that I never saw a sign he proceeded to tell me it was painted on the street itself....then tried to hit me with a no seatbelt....um no dude, it's called my shirt is grey and my seatbelt is grey....I denied to sign the ticket and opted to take it to court....thankfully since it was out of state they didn't require me to be present and ended up throwing out the case

the second one was that I was doing the speed limit, however there was a school speed limit sign that was covered by a tree so I couldn't see it and even when the cop had to point it out to me, I'm like how was I supposed to see that? And the "school" was a new building that looked like a hotel, so I didn't know it was a school....again I denied to sign the ticket or just pay the fine....took some pictures of the area and went to court...they tried to "lower" it by removing the school zone but still saying that I was speeding because it's 20mph and I was doing 40mph....um no if you remove the school zone then the posted speed limit is 40 mph....they went back and forth for a while trying to pressure me into paying before I reminded the judge that I had evidence....to which he promptly agreed with me and told me next time to be more careful....

We’ve been chatting up a storm. Glad you are back! Hope you had a nice trip?
I’ve been home, just haven’t had time or energy for mixing. I’ve actually finally worked my way through the backlog of stash (yay!). About time to break out some new ones.
