Oh dear lord I had a perfectly lovely week now ruined by a title company on the house (they are such scum) scheduled to come out to our house like, for me to notarize documents that need to be and they were like, 'Oh hay we can't come like do you mind if we just send em, you print em, you take them to a notary you airmail em to us?"

My husband and realtor started having fits like I MEAN you KNOW if I had innocently said yes not that I was going to, like they would have charged us FOR THE SERVICE that is why they did not call our realtor to start with. My weekend looks like there may be suckage in it. Like, I have a ton of reading and stuff to do and now I am charging them for my time which I was interested to learn what my time is really worth.; neato. But yeah all that. I gotta go to Morgantown to the UPS store and they can do it all and title company can reimburse.\

But that is my only minor (MINOR!( complaint so its' all good really I got to get in bed. Maybe I will read back and all the flavor talk will make me sleepy...

You haven't been reading my woes. Pretty much the same thing, ended up at UPS and the title co is supposed to reimburse me for it.

You must be at closing if they have documents already.

Does it turn on but not spin?
I press the start button and nothing happens. I can hear the timer and the light works. My son turned on some clothes to dewrinkle them since they were in the dryer overnight, it worked for a minute, and it just stopped. I think it’s a fuse or high limit thermostat so I’m going to order both once I verify I’ve got the correct ones. I’m also going to order a new hose.

I just got the 4oz bottles. It’s a little more work when bottling but it’s not bad.
I don't have a problem with the 4oz bottles. But using mostly 8oz bottles will allow me to maximize my meager storage space the little mini-freezer.

    There's always gum.

I am assuming this refers to nicotine gum in some way, but I am going to note I don't think dentine makes it. They should... I bet there'd be a market. LOL.

@rosesense yep same deal they come to you notaries. I think it's supposed to make things easier but in this case, it is making me stabby. I have ascertained I will receive reimbursement and already sent an email and heck, I can take them to small claims court if I want for my time and my business.

Yeah closing came fast but we had awesome realtors.

It just bugs me they had some "guy" call at like 9 pm and say "Oh we just can't find anyone can you just do all the work and pay for it yourself, even though we are charging you for it?" Cuz I mean SERIOUSLY. I bet my zip code is a targeted one too.... I smell a class action lawsuit in here but man if I tried to do that with every issue in my life, I think I would have like no time for sleep. Plus no conscience. Something.

Those folks have none however. Sometimes at those moments I want revenge I like to picture what hell would be like.

I mean... no clothes for one. So the burning sulfur spatters wider. That must suck. Etc. Sometimes I like to imagine what the person on the other end of the line looks like. Any unfortunate tattoos or piercings? Fat? Etc.

I am a terrible human being but hey. It's usually when I'm provoked. I'm like... A predator.

Not the movie predator nope, those things suck. But every other type: Mountain lion, black puma, hell housecat you name it.

If it’s a fuse, is it a special kind? You might be able to get it at an auto parts store. If not, look up an electrical supply store. I have a bunch of different ones at work. If it’s just a small buss fuse then you should be able to find it locally.

I guess I didn’t understand what you meant by a thermal fuse. It’s a thermal temperature sensor. Not really a fuse. I’m assuming it’s supposed to be normally closed and opens if the temperature gets too hot. If that’s the case then you can put a jumper wire across the two terminals and try turning the dryer on. If it’s bad then the dryer should start.

How to Tell if a Thermal Fuse is Blown
    1. Unplug your dryer and ensure it is no longer connected to the gas or electric.
    2. Locate the thermal fuse, as above.
    3. Disconnect the thermal fuse from the wires.
    4. Test the fuse with a multimeter.
    5. If the needle on your multimeter does not move, your thermal fuse is blow.

Start with a fuse. Same thing happened to us. Fuses go out. Hubs has repaired all of our appliances that were bought in 93. LOL He will keep them running till were dead.

It’s so ironic! I just...I mean just now!...got out my ohm meter I’ve had since I started vaping. Too funny. I will be checking continuity of all these parts. My dryer has a small fuse and it also has a high limit thermometer. The videos I’ve been watching say to check both.

I think it’s one of these.

When I looked up thermal fuse, it showed me a picture of what I call a thermostat. It’s a small round black disc mounted on a metal plate and has two wire terminals. Take one wire loose and check for continuity. I used to see these all the time in the older machines I worked on. The new ones are more computerized and use thermistors where the resistance changes depending on the temperature and it’s monitored by a circuit board.

The one on top is what I call a thermostat. The bottom one looks like a regular buss mini fuse. Most that have a white or black center like that are a time delay fuse. Get out your glasses and look on the silver part on the end. It should be marked with the rated voltage and current for the fuse. It will also have the part number that might start with MDA, MDL, or ABC and the number after that is how many amps it’s rated for.

If they don't have some more bottles in the next week, then I will just go ahead and order the nicotine. I was just hoping to get everything shipped at once.
just order the nic (wish I could but I'm broke) you can get bottles later.
I'm screwed... have enough nic for 6 months but have mods/tanks/RTAs so I will survive (actually don't have that much but I will be OK... I hope) Really need to just make one last order of nic and I'm talking 150 ml of 100 mg nic (you guys talk about liters and gallons... I'm not the jealous type of person but you are killing me... "I only have enough for 50 years" Hey, no hard feelings (I'm loving my vape and will make it somehow ;) )

No, I haven't ordered anything from China vendors. I don't have a credit card or paypal anymore. My bank won't allow orders though debit.
    ''CV" central vapors
I see. I didn't know there would actually be a chance to buy locally. This is an exoensive rabbit hole I fell into. Oh well just have to wait now

The entire fuse vs thermostat was confusing. Newer models may not have the little fuse. I just have to look for it. But mine definitely has the high limit thermostat. But partsdr.com lists two different ones. I think there may be at least two thermostats and one fuse. I just have to check.

I didn't want to say this (because I'm very good with electrical and using meters) but I fixed my own dryer. Turns out it was the timer... "hot wired" some switches and it worked great (just had to remember when to turn it off) Anyway, learned about how the entire dryer is wired in the process. There are two safety devices wired into the circuits... if you know someone that can check those for you, they are very easy to replace (and don't cost much) It's really the old process of elimination (assuming it's not a belt, motor or timer... could be a simple fix) Wish I was there to help (don't run out and get a new dryer)
Geeze... my old laptop is fried... actually typing the wrong letters... goota go

    * Cough * Cough * . . . Labor Day . . . * Cough * Cough *

    .
You are so funny. Yeah, I knew it was labor day...see what being sick and selling a house will do to you?

Pretty soon it will be Christmas, you know when kids dress up like goblins and go door to door for gifts, lol.

I’m determined to fix it. I think it’s something simple and inexpensive. I’ve learned a lot by spending hours researching it. :)
