Conversations have been interesting, given they've been all over the place for the past 2 days . . . So only going to jump-in on a couple of them one subject at a time . . .
1) "Sceptre" - Like it so much, it has become the leader of the mods I keep in daily rotation and has been in daily use for months now . . . Matter of fact, using the exact same 1.2 coil now since August 10th. . .
2) Although I was expecting a package last Friday, UPS said NO gonna take another day . . . So on Saturday got an email the package was on the truck - should be here by 12 noon - if I wanted to I could track their movements . . . Well I did watch them as they went on a trip around the whole neighborhood and then taken back to UPS at 8 PM . . . So - An even longer story short - finally this morning a UPS supervisor called apologized and said the driver got lost . . . Yep - They sure did, since he was only a block away at 11 AM on Saturday . . . Well the package was on the truck at 9:30 AM and arrived by 10 AM only 3 days later then expected . . .
So you might be asking what was in the package and the reason why I am telling you all this . . . The package contained the Kroma-Z (including the 510 Adapter) and Endura M18's . . . At first look, they are definitely "innokin" and while they maybe similar to there predecessors - they are a very different and there is a NEED to read the manual/instructions . . . Are they a step up or down - don't know yet . . . Gonna test them out for a week or so, then put up a review . . . Just Sayin' . . .
3) TV vs Cable vs Streaming . . . AH - The dilemma arises again, especially in the time of Covid . . . Personally, I "Cut-The-Cord" quite some time ago (20+ years) and then reattached a symbiotic relationship with the airwaves via Antenna and the Internet . . . Watched what I wanted and couldn't get over the airwaves via 2 different websites that offered both TV Shows and Movies . . . Then came along HDTV - got more then enough local channels using an antenna (got 65 in total now) . . . Then as a Birthday present got Netflix for the first 10 years, both mail & via Roku (after that I was paying so got rid of the DVD Mail option) . . . Then couple of years ago, a ECF Friend turned me on to Hulu ($.99 per month for a Year) during a X-mas sale . . . Then I found Disney + for $5.99 so I could see "Marvel"/"Star Wars"/etc. (now pay annual fee for Disney+ {approximately $60} and waiting for Hulu to offer annual fee for No Commercials) . . . However, Netflix changed my service without telling me and raised the price per month from $8 to $15 - so I left them over a year ago. . . . If they offer a yearly subscription fee - I may go back since I really liked a few of their original shows and diversity of programs . . . As for the rest, while I really would like to be able to see a number of shows on other streaming services (CBS All Access) - NOPE - NA DA - NOT HAPPENING - Not paying any more money for TV, $12 per month is more then enough. . . Just Sayin' . . .
4) Hoping everything is alright, pretty sure everything will be alright given her tenacity and presevance for self-preservation . . . Sending out - GOOD VIBES & POSITIVE HEALTHY THOUGHTS - Anna's way . . .
