Interesting, I have a number of "Higher-End" mods too . . . Got "Suckered" into getting a few of them because they were the bigger/better/best mods out there . . . But, I finally realized I would never ever use them since I am a "TOOTLE PUFFER" . . . I've found for "Me" using VV and Wattage is more then good enough . . . Simplicity just works . . . Personally I'm getting rid of all the TC / Double Battery mods I have . . . Just Sayin' . . .

As a "tootle puffer" as well I don't mind having double battery mods, means I don't have to change/charge my batteries for like 2 weeks!

I've had one mod fail, a Smoant. Now I've been buying nothing but internal battery mods as they fit my vaping well.

Morning, mixers. More rain. Maybe we'll go to town.

Only "low end" mods here. While many are capable of TC, well, I'm a watt vaper ;) Only ever had one go south, a failed switch on an RX 75. So, some possible spare parts for the other one ;) Cloupor Minis still going strong, probably my oldest mods.

I have a couple of the cloupor minis in storage. I believe that I put wraps on them. There was a pink one that I won and a blue one I bought.

    Good morning folks.

I have a few high end mods, DNA etc. They vape... DNAs are nice, but I don't use them how they are mainly intended. The boost functions are nice to have but I don't really use that either because I prefer them without. Nichrome coils really don't need it anyways.

I do notice a difference in chipsets though. And my favorite chipset is in a very affordable mod, the Vaporesso Gen with the axon chip. I think it gives a superior, quick firing rate to some of my other mods. The Tesla's chip are pretty nice too.

The Axon really is a great chip. The Axon 2 is nice too in the Forz. I have the Gen X coming for review but can't remember if it has the first or second chip in it. I'll know before I write the review. It's coming from sourcemore. Vaporesso wouldn't send them out for review for some reason. I think it's because it's so similar to the original Gen.

I very much like the Gene chip in the Argus GT and it's the only mod that I have been consistently running in TC.

I never used the boost function. Last week I gave one of my Lemos to the wife and dug out an unused one for myself. It had a coil already installed. Same resistance I normally use, around 1.0, but it was a big coil with heavier wire than the 28 I use. I had to set the boost to H on my Colossal to get a good vape at my normal power level. Raising the power made it too hot. But the boost was perfect. Now I get what boost is about. But once that coil comes out I'll replace it with a 28 coil.

I have one dual battery mod, actually won here on ECF. Used enough to run thru the battery cycle - and write the review :) - then into the vapocalypse box. For me, a fully charged 18650 will easily power a full tank, so when the tank is empty, I swap in a fresh battery. And don't ever have to worry about a pair of batteries getting divorced :)

I vape in high wattage mode, between 25-100 watts, depending on coil/tank used. I have no need for high end mods, power only. I have a sigelei dual battery mod that is almost 3 years old and works fine, cost was $40. If it takes 1/2 second to fire, I don't care.

I pocket carried a sigelei fuchai 213 mini for years at work. The fire button quit but I had a spare and have been using it some each day for over a year. When I had to start using the second one, I searched and searched for one to buy and finally found a blue one that I ordered. It's really a great little mod. I don't carry it at work any more. I've since started using a pod at work since I found a couple that I really like.

I have one Clouper in one of my drawers. Forgot color. Not a favorite so it will only get emergency use.

I chain vape at 75w so I need dual battery mods. I find I have to change the batteries at least 1-2 times a day in each of mr three mods I have in use. One of them is the Gen S and I love it. Have it paired with my Dead Rabbit RTA and it gives me the richest vape of the three.
