Wow, my mind is blown at that skill
You’ll get there. It takes copious amounts of patience for woodworking (hence the reason I don’t “help”). Most of what he’s built has been out of need (and we’re both cheapos), like the kitchen island. The tv stand he built because I told him he couldn’t put a giant tv in the den unless it had an actual piece of furniture to sit on lol. It’s form was adapted from an 18th c Louisiana plantation hunt table. The other two I showed are 1:1 copies of plantation pieces in the museum here.

I have to admit that is kind of on my bucket list. But, it's sort of the kind of project you work on during chemotherapy when you are like "My life has no meaning or hair," but then you can be like, "I shall visit the OUTSIDE."

I make them angry simply by existing I can't imagine what would happen if I actually WORKED at it.

Wife just texted me from the grocery store (Wegmans) no toilet paper!
Deja Vu all over again.

AH - Thankfully, got both extra Scott TP (12 Pack) and Papers towels (6 Pack) in the past couple of weeks when they were on sale at Walgreens for only $2.75 each with store and manufactures coupons . . . Just Sayin' . . .

We are headed to Walmart after work today. I'm gonna take a gander at that section. I've seen odd sections of groceries still out. We sometimes have trouble finding mac and cheese in the box, some soups like cream of chicken for my casseroles, paper plates I use for my cat food, just odd things. It's obviously a lot better than at the start of the pandemic, but shortages are still ongoing here.

FYI: Stores around here, (including Walmart) have started limiting purchases of popular items, even if you are ordering online/pick-up orders . . . :(

BTW: Remember to checkout Aldi's and the Dollar Stores in your area for the Mac & Cheese in a box, cream soups, and paper products - usually the last to be hit when push comes to shove . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Why YES smacuser. Some are even banned from the Outside :D
And recently in one thread retired1 prevented a very specific group of folks from posting before they ever got a chance. :D The OuterLands, as I call them, are an entertaining and amusing place. ECF's version of Comedy Central with less rules.

I emailed 18650 battery store about the batteries that they sent wrong and they are shipping out two molicel 21700's. They didn't even question me on it. Customer service like that will make me want to use them in the future.

They were talking about tp and paper towel shelves being empty on the news last night. Last time there was a shortage, I got caught without much tp on hand and struggled to get some. This time the wife and I went to Sams club and they were sold out so I stopped by Dollar general and they had our brand in stock so I grabbed four 12 packs. I'm not dealing with trying to buy TP online again.

Himself builds furniture. Before we had money and room, he only used antique hand tools. When we moved here, he built a 24x24 shop out back with a little room set aside for my stained glass and paint. I think he’s really talented, but then again I’m highly biased!! I thought I had more pictures, but here are a few...

Wow! He does fantastic work. I would be highly biased too.

Really love the TV stand and spotted the Eagles DVD Hell Freezes Over!

Even I find it odd.... it's like me telling you that you should like the Playstation system and holding against you because you choose to have an Xbox.

I do have a PS somewhere, I bought it for God of War and their baseball game. :)

One of our favorites. With the surround sound turned up.... glorious. I’ll have to go back and look at the pictures lol. Heaven knows what else I overlooked. The tv stand is an older pic, we don’t have that tv downstairs any longer.
