Updates, Okay I will try before too more questions.
How am I? Exhausted but a lot of things are more organized.
House one is OFF the table. What a pair of nut jobs. The politician seemed to think "we can take this offer off the table" was a negotiating tactic, he must have said it 7 times and texted it a few. I sent calming texts, he was an emotional manipulator and a jerk.
For EXAMPLE who wants to PAY someone ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS to fill THEIR old propane tank up to see if it WORKS because they had some legal/illegal line from their parent's home, (depended on which one you talked to they should keep their stories straight.) BUT EITHER WAY, NO YOU ADVERTISED it as propane, sorry, you said it was ready to SELL and no you want ME not the guaranteed buyer, to PAY THAT UPFRONT what if the sale doesn't happen.
I was like (nicely) dude look I do real estate and I am telling you any buyer credulous enough to go for that you don't want like living next door I would CONSIDER purchasing some REMAINING propane if there is a lot left to be NEIGHBORLY but not NOW ALSO your OWN contract states NO MATERIAL change after the inspection so NO you cannot make it back to your free GAS it is WINTER so unless you want to reinspect the pipes....
But when we were about to start incurring serious cost... well, sadly like uh, the mineral rights issue came up. We had figured out by this time how nuts they were and oil/gas rights in WV are MESSED UP. Like, you can own the SURFACE Of your land and they can only get at your minerals by tunneling deep underground and whatnot so rather than wait for the deeds we requested they fill out six questions including 1)WHICH OF EITHER OF YOU OWNS ANY RIGHTS and WHICH ONES. We asked for it to be notarized by then because we were just DONE with them. Pay our closing costs! No real estate attorney we won't do it buy OUR PROPANE WHAT IS NEXT SHAVE OUR DOG?
So, they were "deeply insulted" by then and the dude like, offered to withdraw the contract.
Then like always, he was like, "Maybe we should call and talk this out."
I was like, "I would like to talk out your weight so I can figure the arsenic dose" (but I did not say that I just POLITELY emailed while ignoring all the "we can work this out talk.) They sent us back our earnest money (They withdrew the contract they had to) and I hope they have ONE K of propane sitting in their tank that I did not pay for for a LONG LONG TIME.
So that is the house. We found THE PERFECT HOUSE it SO SERIOUSLY IS IT IS PERFECT.
I'm not jinxing it by further discussion but thank GOD we have a real estate agent. I LOVE IT!! Also no drilling issues. So, yeah.
House talk done for now. If it starts to Happen, well....
