Indeed I did. And it should be a testament to the fact of how little he interests me that he continually INSULTS me and I can't even get his NAME right.

I mean, I felt like, "C'mon princess, you are focusing on the pea. Do you really want to?"

And I was like, "Well, it's still annoying so YES.

OMG I WORKED MY 30 hours straight with 4 hours STRAIGHT and like, DO I EVER HAVE THE WORK SAGA OF ALL TIME.

It will require several text boxes, dude. Be warned. Thank GOD I joined the union it MIGHT save me.

Maybe.

So I worked my day vaguely annoying AND I FOUND OUT MY SUPERVISOR HAS OLD CHECK KITING ISSUES, DV ISSUES, and a DUI. I mean collage age ish but I am not sure a DV supervisor is my best bet. As an assertive woman, he was all SUPER agitated the last time and like clenching his fists and like walking around. I did not care for it. I will have to see.

Snake woman is worse. She lies.

IDK they all suck. SO, I WORK my two shifts without incident, I mean I got a lot of sleep the day before and tomorrow and Sunday are yoga, yoga, yoga. Etc. Working on dream house number 2 problem being guy wants like way more than it's worth but eh, we are talking about my work.

I was super glad the husband collected me at 12. I got to bed at like 2, up at 6. There is a certain level of weird cheeriness that comes before the madness. If what happened this afternoon had NOT happened, I might have made it out unscathed. Just you know, brain dead, a little impulsive. I drove me to work husband was a mess.

So I go and somewhere in the middle of the day like, I got told I had a COVID "Exposure" incident. Which sucked, it was a group. I know for a fact that I am not the ONLY therapist who allows for a bit of non-total masking if the person is far enough away, I mean, what am I going to do, arm wrestle them for it? SO I make them spend 7 feet or more away, I say "wear your mask" and also "It's your health."

SO but apparnetly some draconian email had come out about everyone needing to wear masks like DUCT taped to their face or get kicked out of the facility. Etc. How I missed it I have no idea, because I LOVE draconian emails, honestly. And kicking someone out could be fun so I really would want to.

However, I did not SEE this email (Like you get thousands a day honestly) so I was continuing my policy. So the Infetction Control folks all got with me by phone. I am quite sure many a therapist might have just LIED about it and said everyone was masked. But, I didn't I mean they were exposed and whatnot and maybe they need treatment.

So then all the head honchos got wind of it, and I got email after email about what a sad, sorry human I was and etc. and like I was pretty wilted but all I wanted to do was write my notes and go HOME. Infection control said they would deal with it.

BUT head honchos wanted to make me feel WORSE than I already felt because like I do love these guys and all, but I coulda been the Mistress of the Masks and like EATEN their pets if their mask was not perfect. But I didn't. I don't lie. So, I was like DUDE I don't force them I social distance them and say use your mask but in the FUTURE I will kick them out in a heart beat.

So like, I guess they got a little VENGEFUL. (Head honchos.)

So I spent 3 hours getting like emails citing my wrongness and evil and decided *I* would be the one to inform them of their exposure and like, the rules. Nothing medical, no information on safety or like how to quarantine from family just this script about staying home, waiting for symptoms and you can't come back to the VA for 2 weeks and you do online group (which I had to point out was not authorized at their facility and offer them like individual therapy.) I mean the top people know NOTHING.

In any case, I was anxious about this because I already was like, by then, I feel AWFUL (physically) and focusing was tough. My other supervisor (snake woman) asked how I felt. I said, "I have no idea, I cannot remember the last time I worked this kind of schedule. I ache from head to foot but that seems normal." Anyway I wear my mask and occupational health lady was super nice and professional and ALSO said it was not in my job description to tell them and that was why they had Infection Control specialists. I was like, "OH thank GOD, it's not that I MIND telling them but like I am NOT a medical professional I would have no idea what questions to answer and honestly I just want them to get the best advice." SO like she then CHECKED and told me like, infection lady was doing it.

So, I was like, "OH hay boss people good news! So glad I called infection control lady because frankly, she seems far more educated and we have people for this. Also I will have to do individual sessions! Also I feel terrible and I am not minimizing my responsibility and I will KICK my next unmasked person out of group so hard he falls through the floor but basically none of what you are telling me makes sense. So, here is the plan. I am going to let the department of PROFESSIONALS hired for this do it."

So I was like girding my loins to write notes and like wanting diet pepsi but also fearful I would BITE someone if I like intersected with someone so it was a tough struggle. And well, finally I got my diet Pepsi and this woman (I can't even remember who at this point) CALLED.

She was like "I hear you have concerns about contacting your veterans why?"
"Um, they are already being contacted by the appropriate department. I am not medical. I cannot see why you would not want to have the right people tell them the right things not me." She like, "hemmed and hawwed" for a bit and she said "Dr. SO and SO says you have a script." I was like, look, I have been informed they are being contacted by the appropriate personnel. That is IT.

Then, she was like, "Well why don't we all have a TEAMS meeting to discuss it."

    There will be more LOL

No, it was the post from the night before yesterday. You seemed to be rambling a tad... maybe you don't remember even posting it.
Actually, I do remember (in fact looked it up) I'm sorry if the way I word things comes across wrong (I was actually trying to be nice... well that didn't work)
P.S. I won't use the term "sweetheart" anymore... had no idea that might bother people. I won't mention Anna again.

I baked 4 pies today, 2 pumpkin and 2 pecan. We are having our Thanksgiving on Sunday because too many people (not me) have other obligations on Thursday. My daughter is coming up tomorrow.:banana::banana: She'll be here for almost a week.

Well, the changing of the glass on the Dead Rabbit didn't stop the leaking of juice, but I did figure out the DR clone. Those hooks weren't to hold the chimney on the deck, they were for airflow, so there had to be some way to attach the chimney to the deck. Lo and behold, there was some threading on it after all. It was just higher up and so faint my bad eyes couldn't see it. I had to mash everything together really tight and hold my mouth just right to get the chimney to screw onto the deck. But I did it. And so far, no leaking.:D

So, eventually like I was almost tearful by this point. I said, "Listen, whomever you are, I am sorry I need to notify you and then my supervisor, I am in no condition to deal with this. At this point I have dealt with hours of emails and corrected many MISCONCEPTIONS so I am not the only person that can be wrong, it seems. However, I am coming up on the end of my third shift and a teams meeting at this time would not be advantageous to me. Or anyone. I am afraid I will need to respectfully decline." I will be packing my crud and heading HOME. I cannot do this anymore." She was like "Fine" all snotty. I told her I was not supposed to work that schedule so things got wonky.

So, and this is where I am glad I unionized, but ALSO F(censored) THESE PEOPLE wasting my time with this BS.

So my exit email TO EVERYONE was: "I understand I have made an error. Should you wish to write me up for that error, please do so. Many people would have LIED. I did not do so, because I care about our Veteran community and one should not lie about an exposure. Frankly, the insistence that I, a non medical staff, take the place of the Infection Control Department feels punitive. If you want to punish me, that is fine. But really to care for OUR VETS we should allow infection control to do what is their JOB which is to explain what to do next.

So I have A SCRIPT? I'm sorry, I do not do scripts, I am a social worker, not a telemarketer! (yet, I guess but I did not add that part)

So please, understand that my brain has reached its limit. Coping with your horrible passive agressive way of punishing me instead of punishing me does NOT benefit our Veterans. Would you, if your daughter/son/parent had a COVID exposure, would you like them to be contacted by a sleep deprived SOCIAL WORKER or INFECTION CONTROL?

Think about who you are punishing. Besides which, my brain is officially not functioning in a functional capacity and I PROMISE If you would like me to feel worse than I DO, ASK ME to tell them all on Monday that it was MY evil group and MY failure to kick you out that caused exposure and hopefully that will be just FINE and I can FEEL even worse than I DO NOW although frankly Substance abuse patients are risk takers and I am not a JAIL WARDEN. HOWEVER, since I did not implement the email, you could you know actually do something appropriate and like write me up for being truthful, and like PROTECT the HIPPA of the guy who lied about his sx and had it, because well, they are all gonna know WHO it is if they don't ALREADY."

I am leaving now. Really. I'm sure we can arrange a meeting on MONDAY honestly, because frankly, I'm done with this, if I try to attend a meeting where you all lie about WHY I should be the one to call although you have an INFECTION COTROL nurse just DYING to do their job. My brain cannot handle this at the moment but you have ALL been wrong about SOMETHING so honestly, you write me up, and I file complaints and POINT OUT THE SEVENTEEN errors in these emails SO NO ONE KNOWS EVERY POLICY ABOUT EVERYTHING so maybe we should just ALL write ourselves UP or we could spend our time productively like hopinig everyone is OKAY. Hypocrisy is not my favorite thing and frankly, none of you produced an error free email I mean you started out with the WRONG GROUP I had to correct you.

So, this is also how I get when my ADA is not respected and it gets unpleasant and I am leaving now so I don't say something worse than I am saying.

    Arrange away but GOD.

Then, I emptied every scrap of PHI from my office because I know how they are. Into the shredder with it.

I think I may be okay but I am not backing down this time. The problem is PEOPLE in power get so upset when you point out where THEY went wrong.

But, I'm sorry it was just not a good idea. If it was, I would have done it but patient care takes precedence over punishments of staff. It's NOT LIKE YOU DON'T HAVE TONS OF WAYS to PUNISH ME OMG.

I hope things settle down but I don't care so much. If I fail this time I am starting my own practice it is the only way.

I made the mistake of watching a review on the Kroma Z at lunch. Djslb reviewed the blue and black one and loved it. If anyone sees a super deal on one, please let me know. Yes I'm talking to you @JCinFLA .:D

Been using "My" Kroma-Z POD since it got here . . . I like it so far . . . AND - Although I had to modify it somewhat, using a regular 1.6 Z-coil and exchanged the AIr flow ring on the POD to the MTL ring that comes with it - IMHO - Ya' probably will like it as much as the Sceptre (if not more so) with the 0.8 coil already installed and/or the extra 0.3 coil . . . OH BTW: Menu is slightly different then the Kroma-R and so is the Type C USB (old ones will not work with this MOD - nor the Endura M18) . . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I don't know about it being a "super deal" or not...but the following is the lowest price I can find for the kit. EcigMafia has it for $36.99, but if you use the coupon code NEXT15....it'll drop it to $31.44 + S/H. I think the code only works if you've already placed an order from them in the past...which is why the coupon was/is for 15% off your next order. I know you've ordered multiple times from them IIRC, so not a problem for you to use it.

Thank you! I’ll go give it a try.

@stols001 I would insist they use a infection control nurse. It is their job to provide education related to covid-19 not yours. Good luck! I almost had enough of what I'm doing.

Going to watch Discovery or The Mandalorian in a few.

Really need to mix. I have these decent glass bottles that hold 32 ounces. A friend gave me some keto super coffee and now I have 6 glass bottles.

I did insist that and I LEFT so they could not make me do it. I did it for the Vets, plus I want to be rested for this confrontation. Oh they will all say what they will say. I know what I will be saying.

These people are PSYCHO. Make the SW who is currently edging toward INSANE do it, because we forced her to work a shift she informed her supervisor, the domestic violence guy, that she had an ADA protected illness and could NOT work , and ask if he needed documentation then to have him deny it etc.

Union rep is going to meeting with me. I disclosed ADA prior to HIRE. While ONE supervisor "of concern of my ADA" OUT OF NOWHERE demanded to know if I could do CPR and then commented on my "tiny-ness" it seems no one actually paid attention when I said "WOO HOO here is an ADA issue do you need paperwork" the dumb DV guy was probably too busy fantasizing about punching me in the face to listen to my ADA issues,

I swear. This job is so dysfunctional I am holding NOTHING back. Seriously, I would love to sue our government. I would LOVE to say, "I do not understand as an assertive person I am being supervised by the domestically violent guy because that seems to be a recipie for disaster given my :"tinyness."

Awesome. Pumpkin is the only pie I have ever liked. For some reason, I have never been a pie fan. But every Thanksgiving I will eat at least a couple slices of pumpkin pie.

When I was in high school I worked at this family owned restaurant and the owner had this super secret recipe for old fashioned cream pie. He would come in early before opening and make them so no one would find out the recipe. They would sell out every day. Around holidays it was like trying to get the popular toy at Xmas.

Wow, I can't imagine one pie being that popular in demand. Must have been a very good recipe.
