Just found out my sis-in-law has Covid. She’s an elementary school teacher so doomed from the start. But she was also the most vocal naysayer about Covid. She was hosting Thanksgiving but no more. They are all in 14 day quarantine. We are having it at Mom’s now.
Covid see's no barrier. Hope she will be ok. A nurse at work caught covid twice.
She was bragging about hosting Thanksgiving. She should be on quarantine.

That's insane coming from a nurse.

I hope everyone is okay too. COVID is no fun.

So the sis emailed me, her advice is always to stay calm and approach it pleasantly and "maybe they were all worried" and I was like, "Sis, that would fly with me if like, they had not done this over the course of 4 hours, and they were NOT worried enough to have identified the WRONG group of patients to begin with. They weren't worried.

Anyway, I will start out calm but I will Not Take Crap from Anyone. I just.... I told my husband I would work this job for a while, but frankly there is a HUGE part of me that just wants OUT of the healthcare business. This caused him to freak.

IDK my sis is always ilke, "Assume the best" for a lawyer she is a total weirdo. She's all like they were probably confused and worried and blah blah.

I was like: I was very, very clear. They were confused about nothing.

She was like, "I am glad you have a union rep. I know zero about this stuff. You probably know more than me." Sigh.

Yes, it is a certain type of person who should go to hell for spreading the virus when they know they have it. Numerous times she takes off her mask at work. I hope I don't get this but I have a feeling. Still feel like crap today. However, throat is better and just fatigue. It's hard to differentiate between covid and a autoimmune disease response. I suppose I'll find out results on Monday if I'm positive.

Still hoping for a negative test. I'm also very sorry your job hasn't turned out so great.

Health care in general sucks at the moment. If I had to do it again-I wouldn't. The paper trails (via computer) are horrible. One spends so much time charting (entering info into computer) that bedside nursing is a thing of the past.

Still hoping for the best. Other than that I would say it isn't a great time to get out of healthcare assuming a new house is in the future.

There are NO good jobs in healthcare at present. Everyone in charge is seriously insane about the wrong stuff. I have worked 5 different jobs in two states and 4 cities (okay a couple were the same agency, but....) NO one knows what to do.

It really annoyed me to hear the healthcare workers in the ER talk about like, the vaccine being poison and stuff. I asked her where she heard that, and she said "Fox News." I said, "If you want to trust some entity owned by Rupert MURDOCH that is up to YOU, but it's crap. The vaccine is fine, it is being tested, and we all need to get on with our lives."

She said little it is a known fact there is not a CHARGE NURSE IN THE GRAVEYARD shift that is not a complete wizened, horrible, unwell JERK. I hated it down there I will work my two prescheduled shifts (I did it to avoid, like, being scheduled last minute they are on Saturdays) meh but I can use the extra income really for Christmas and stuff.....

After that no. I bet I was exposed to more covid down there than in my group. I hated it.

    Oh well, ces't la vie. I was also NOT NEEDED.{

But whatever,, in 10 minutes YOGA. The mat gonna be AWSUM I NEED IT BAD.

Also hope to hear about the house soon but the guy has several days to get back to us.

I really like our real estate chick and she knows what she is doing. My husband can't stand her I always have to call.

My ah, self-care has really fallen off in this job need to get it back, May do yoga at noon in my office. I am allowed.

I do not know why I did not think of this before I get an hour for lunch. I can make my notes suck more.

    Your right!
    I could be wrong, but I bet it is a "Boge" 510 too . . . ;)

    .
I think it is. I use to buy ikenvape cartos so it might be rebranded.
Whatever works  Mighty big bottle. How long will that last you?
I usually only mix 200mL at a time. This should last a few months or longer. I'm going to mix 750mL of peach rings or something fruity later on. The bottles themselves are 32 ounces.
