Great ideas! My brothers are weird and probably have all of that and I have given wallets before. I am getting my gay nephew a 12 pack of novelty socks with stripes and polka dots and animals and fruit (I haven't made up my mind yet and that reminds me that my son and I are going to flip a coin between two sets). He has modeled and is tall and lanky and gorgeous and he loves fashion. I think he will like these. I limit my gifts to $25 + tax. He's the most difficult one of all to buy for. I also do not *really* know my family and their likes and needs. It's tough. Mom gave tools to my older brother last year. I'm going to think about the shave kits. Good idea. We've also given cologne sample kits and we are just out of ideas.

Wonderful gifts! Mom gives multiple gifts for each person acting like Santa and she always gives us all a gift card. I love my Lowe's gifts cards and she also gives Amazon GCs. My brothers and especially my Dad have everything tool-wise. So difficult! Especially trying to come up with multiple gifts. For some reason pulling together my gifts was easier this year...although I'm clueless on my son. I tend to feel sorry for my Mom so I gave her one of my gifts for my son last night. A Lego set for a beetle Volkswagon. He always gets a set from me and one from her. So I'm giving her my gifts! ARGH! We need to stop this nonsense. She is about ready. They are too old for this. I told her long ago to stop it.
Could be your Mom loves Christmas? I know I do .

What do men like to receive that doesn’t pertain to vaping? *snicker*. Any ideas you could share? I’m just clueless. I bought each of my brothers a four pack of LED lanterns with batteries for when the power goes out. My Dad loved his a few years back. And after all these years of gifting we’ve run the gamut and I’m out of fresh ideas.

Well this man always appreciate something homemade that I do not get often - like oatmeal rasin cookies (sister use to send a lg tin of cookies every holiday but she stop a long time ago), a stuffed beast of Veal w/Italian Sausga stuffing, a Meat Lasagna (that I do not have to make) - Oh and "My" absolute favorite Roast Beef (Rare) w/ Yorshire pudding . . . . Then if not that-something I NEED - that I can't afford to get . . . Monthly Swedish deep muscle message, NEW 46" OR BETTER Smart TV, New Crossover/small SUV (road & parking lot get flooded to often - can’t get out) . . .

I say all this, as I sit here making breadpudding w/rasins dreaming of what Ya' gonna get "Me" . . . . :img:

BTW: GAY Nephew gift sounds really nice, that is if he wares socks, just don't forget the sexy boxers/briefs to match . . . "WE" do like to coordinate our outfits . . . Just Sayin' . . .

It stresses her, but yet she tries to keep the traditions alive. She is stressed to the max. Her back is out and she can barely walk. She’s depressed. When I called her you could hear the heavy breathing, fussing at Dad for running in and out, wringing of the hands and it’s not healthy. We all love Christmas, but this gift business is stressful. I try to make it easy for her by doing all the work but it burdens me. They need to stop it.

Well I see your point. When it turns stressful and depressing it needs to stop.

I'm a strange cat. I don't like people touching me. The wife loves getting massages and kept trying to get me to go with her. I finally got over my hang-ups and caved.. joining her during one of her spa days. An hour massage, good grief, one whole hour of some stranger touching me?

A very thin, blonde woman came in and gave me a great massage. I decided this ain't so bad. I told my wife I'd go again but only on one condition-- it had to be the same woman every time. We went back again and I was able to procure the services from the same person. When we were going back a third time we found out the woman had quit and so I never got a massage again.

I like back scratches.. and in that regard I am the luckiest man alive. I have to actually tell my wife to stop. Wife and I were once at a friends house and I shared my wife's back scratching expertise with him and his wife. My friend immediately looked at his wife and said, "I want a divorce". Funny.

    Somewhere between here and there
    1) If they don't have one already, a good wallet. I'm partial to LAND wallets myself. I lucked out this year because my pup chewed the corners of my 23 year old LAND wallet so my wife bought me another one for Christmas.

    2) If they shave, a nice shave kit especially if they use a razor instead of those electric razors. If they use an electric razor a good quality one of those even. If they have a beard and manicure it themselves a good beard trimmer.

    3) A quality screw gun.

    4) A dual electric/cigarette lighter type air pump for the family's vehicles. We hate having to go to gas stations to put air in the tires.

    5) Contrary to popular belief-- we actually like getting socks because we will wear the ones we have to death. It's important to get the kind we like though... example: if a guy wears ankle sports socks don't get him knee length tube socks.

I totally forgot socks. You’re definitely right. I just had to get new shoes and socks for work. The shoes had holes in the insoles and the socks were thin. Great suggestion!

We’ve been trying to get the in-laws to do either a single gift exchange where you draw a name or not exchange at all for years but they never agree to it.

They are just old, can’t get out shopping like they used to, and they have never shopped on the internet. She’s just feeling it.

My grandmother had 6 kids and oodles of grands and greats and great greats. She went from gifts, to $2 bills each, until she finally stopped altogether. Then they started doing gag gifts, most homemade, and it was the most hilarious thing you’ve ever seen. Those were the best Christmases in my memory. The two that stick out the most were the ones my aunt crocheted, to keep a certain male anatomy warm. And the time my Dad brought in a humongous spring and gave it to his sister to be used as an iud. Just freaking hilarious!

I have an order going at River Supply and it's $53. It says free shipping over $50 but wants to charge me $15 for delivery. Any codes I can use?

River Supply has gotten strange with their shipping policy. They now charge even if over the $50 free shipping limit if over a certain weight. Is PG, VG, or nicotine part of your order by any chance? I went to order a single flavor from them a couple of weeks ago, it was a purilum flavor that's being discontinued. It was either Caramel Coffee and sweet milk or cappuccino coffee, can't remember which. They wanted to charge me almost $11 for shipping for one bottle of flavoring.

I saw a new (to me) eggnog recipe. It’s in my to mix pile for next week so it’ll be ready for Christmas.
Don't make too much. Like real eggnogg, the flavor is best saved for short periods of time. I still have my eggnog from last year, LOL.

Okay, we are making an offer on the house for 30K less but the real estate agent did comps and seriously, the guy just slapped a number on it.

We'll see. I looked on line and I have further backup from me, including MY requirement to protect HIPPA and if I HAD called those Veterans, I would have violated HIPPA.

OMG. I am so glad I left when I did. And also PURGED my office from every stray piece of potential HIPPA because I know this type of people.

You know it's interesting.... Every other time, I have gone "Oh my Bipolar, it's me!!" and backed away but THIS TIME after the HIPPA stuff and their insane INSISTENCE, I now wonder if they were just WANTING me to get in trouble and if they are smart enough for that.

Either way, glad I left. Seriously if I get in trouble (which I cannot see getting in trouble because ALL vets on entry are TOLD they have to keep their masks on ONE HUNDRED percent of the time, well, I'm not seeing it. They were already told and WHATEVER.

    Bleugh.

But, I called my sis the lawyer there was nothing wrong with ANY of my actions and I am DONE. I will go after them like a Rottweiler if I have to. DONE.

Yes I wanted gallon jugs of PG and VG and I guess you don't get free shipping on those.
