I guess there are several possible causes. Maybe the threading is bad down the bottom of the hole or something. If the screw goes in good then stops it might be worth shortening the screw a little and see if it holds. If it's the screw that's damaged rather than the hole that wouldn't work. Does the screw that won't go all the way in work in the other hole?
I didn't try the screw in the other hole. But I did try one of the replacement screws with the hole I has having problems with. Same issue.

Wife wanted a steak today. I don't eat much meat but I go along. We don't go to restaurants right now since the virus has exploded in Indiana so I looked up places with pickup service. There are a few but outrageously expensive. I went up to the local butcher and got a really nice 2lb sirloin steak for $27. Half went in the freezer so we get steaks tonight. I'll only eat a small piece so she gets steak tomorrow as well.

Daughter the nurse got tested yesterday. Negative. There was a major outbreak at her hospital. It started with a group of nursing staff who were vocally anti mask. They wore them at work and went out partying in their spare time. The rules said they should send home anyone who was in contact with those idiots but that would have meant closing the hospital so they went with tests instead. At least they have tests now. Back in the summer she got sick and they didn't even have enough tests for the patients so they send her home for two weeks. She wasn't able to get a test until the end of the second week after she had burned through all her paid sick time.

For the first time in a while I'm completely up to date with mixing and tank maint so I might get around to trying a new recipe today.

Unless using an alcohol based flavor, then you might want to leave it uncapped for a couple days so that component can evaporate out.
A couple of my Medicine Flower flavors are alcohol based. After I steep them I do exactly that. A couple days uncapped and the alcohol is evaporated. And ready to vape! :D

It won’t turn on. I tried a new battery, took the rta off and back on...nothing.
A while back I had that happen with one of my Solo's.

    Here...
Take the battery out. Plug your Solo into your computer via USB. Wait a second and then press the "fire" button. You should see the battery symbol on the screen. Unplug it. Pop a battery in and try powering it up. That worked for me and that problem hasn't happened since.

Also, check to make sure the white silicone o-ring is still on the battery cap. If it came off and is in the battery compartment your Solo won't power up. The battery won't make a connection. When looking at the cap the o-ring should be nearest to the little tab we use to unscrew the cap and seated flush above the threads. IIRC, on our Katya's Solo that o-ring came off and was inside the battery compartment.

May be a different cause but I had the same thing happen to a Pico last week. Tried all sorts and it came back to life when I cleaned the positive connection inside the mod. Similar layout to the Solo, the positive is down the bottom of the hole where the battery goes. I got a set of 4 scraper pens way back that were recommended here. I used the brass one on the Pico. I've had a few problems with dirty connections and those pens are just the job.

I have the Kroma-Z and like it. Hope you like yours also :)
I love mine (using the 0.8 ohm coil first) I really want to try the other coil soon... I shouldn't do this but am tempted to remove the current coil (have only used awhile) soak it in alcohol (vodka) and let it dry, while trying out the other coil (0.3 ohm I think) I want to order more Z coils but need to decide which one I like best (I'm guessing I will like both)

    It worked! Thanks! :thumb:

I’ve got probably that same set of pens. I bought them off amazon. I use them all the time for cleaning mesh and coils after dry burning. My son used one the other day for removing rust on his gun. Worked great. He put his guns in the unfinished basement and they got some rust on them. My basement is moist for some reason. That’s why I don’t store my vape stuff down there. During Christmas break I’m cleaning out closets so he can put his guns in one of them.
