Good news here in Indiana, they reduced the vaccine age from 75 to 70 yesterday. I went to the website and booked an appointment for next Monday at a local hospital. Took about 15 minutes. Since it's happening in hospitals they have very strict mask rules. There were some problems with anti-maskers early on but they cracked down hard, they were given a choice of putting masks on or being removed from the premises.
There's been a bunch of vaccination horror stories going around from Florida and New York and other places, but the Covid response in Indiana was pretty good all the way through, and the vaccine rollout has been really smooth. My daughter the nurse got hers a few weeks ago. Not like the summer when she was working in a Covid recovery ward with one mask a week, but that was from federal incompetence and not Indiana's fault.
