Got my first vaccine shot yesterday. Really slick operation. They used a conference center in a rehab and research building down the road from the hospital. Free parking right next to the entrance. Got my shot 20 mins after I walked in then sat in an auditorium for 15 mins in case of allergic reactions. Faster than getting a flu shot at CVS.

It was all staffed by volunteers. I'm beyond impressed by that, the medical staff have been working 70 hour weeks for a year in nightmare conditions.

Here's one good tip for anyone getting the shot. The nurse asked me which side I sleep on, left in my case. She said it's best to get the shot in the side you don't sleep on, when she got hers she couldn't sleep for 3 days because of the pain in that shoulder. I had a headache and felt woozy in the evening after the shot. The shoulder isn't too bad, doesn't hurt at all unless I touch it. I did try lying on it and she was right about that.

It's a good feeling. Like life is finally on the way back to normality. Except my wife isn't 70 yet so she has to wait for the 65+ group to kick in. That was supposed to happen today but it got set back because vaccine shipments are a mess and Indiana got shorted.

Hey that's awesome you had such a good experience with getting the vaccine. Hopefully they will get the shipments sorted out so your wife can get one soon.

Why is the one in the fridge wrapped in foil?
it came from the freezer's stock also wrapped in foil. Now get this, they are also all in blue cobalt. I know, I know, overkill. But the wrapping in foil came in when I moved from Georgia back to California and could not keep the nic cold. I wrapped it, put it in an ice chest with no ice, and hoped for the best. Two years later back to Georgia I came with the same nic, in the same way. It is crystal clear today. If I were to buy more and was not into traveling, I would leave off the foil.

Here ya go! I made it and I’m vaping it on a fresh wick and dry burn. I really like it! I believe gingerbread has quickly become one of my favorite flavors.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

I have no plans atm but thinking about mixing.
My plans include work stuff, going for a run, and doing some housework. One of the nice things about working from home now is that I can do those at any order I feel like. I'm also going to spend some time shopping online for a rowing machine.

Thanks. I miss going to the gym mainly for the rowing machines. I figured it might be a worthwhile investment just to buy one myself.

My smith cage has a platform on the bottom and one of the pulley cables comes through so I can do a modified row but it doesn't really work the legs like a row machine. It's kind of a pain because I have to move the bench out of the way to use it. I'm sure a regular rowing machine would be better.
