That sounds good... got me interested. I will work on that (for both of us) I also love hazelnut... how would you feel about french toast, pecan, hazelnut and maple? Hey... My mind gets carried away with ideas but I might be on to something here ;)

Haha! That sounds good :)
The maple pecan from BEJ tasted like maple pecan pie or some type of maple pecan dessert...it’s been years...lol

No mixing this week-end (have been helping my son with chores) It was actually easy and I'm enjoying being lazy.
Tried a new (extra) pod on the Kroma-Z (my tobacco mix I've been vaping in a Nautilus X with 1.8 coil) It tastes better. Trying to use up the 0.3 coil so I can put another 0.8 coil in and get back to my PB banana pudding w/ nilla wafer.

Good morning Fran, folks. Water changes for all the adult terrapins.... They have been sleeping since mid December and with the warmer temps have woken up and are now partaking in a lot of breeding activity. Spring is almost here, should have some egg laying within the next couple of months.
I forgot about your terrapins. So, they sleep all winter without eating?
They must get pretty damn skinny. Course, how can one tell with a shell on.

I just didn't want to face your wraith. Next thing I know, I would be banned from ECF. Then I would have to resort to talking to people in person.
Or more likely, talking to yourself, in which case you'd be banned and committed to a home somewhere.

Yep, they start going into brumation (hibernation for reptiles) once the temps start dipping below 70 degrees for my Southern subspecies and 62 degrees for my Northern subspecies. I start increasing their food intake before the winter months get here so they have plenty of fat stored. Once they wake up I feed them every day till I can feel eggs in the females, at that point they won't eat till they lay their eggs. Males really won't touch food through the Spring and Summer months because they only have one thing on their mind... mating.

That's interesting because that one thing on my mind makes me hungry.
But, given they have shells, how can you feel the eggs?

I thought you told me you use 12mg/ml juice... I use that in my MTL but drop down to 6 or even 3 for full blown DL. Maybe I misunderstood.

I vape 10mg/ml, but premix doesn't come in that strength, so when it comes to premixes, I use 12mg/ml.

I palpate them through the open space in front of the rear legs. It will feel like they are full of marbles.

So, between brumation and mating, males eat only a couple of months out of the year?

If I keep them in with the females they will barely eat at all. I separate them towards the end of Summer because the females can get pretty annoyed with them. A female can bite hard enough to go through a clam, so biting a male can be fatal.

Once I separate them I have the opportunity to fatten up the males for brumation.
