Happy Saturday soulful stirrers :)

Dang, two consecutive days with no rain. Must be late summer...

They are called that in Alaska :)

Got TP? Saw one comment on last night's news that the ship blocking the Suez will be delaying lots of goods, including, they said, TP...

We've got plenty...although I will quote my Mom, "the one thing I've learned during this pandemic is I know which tp I love". We've tried them all, and I know a lot of people don't like it, but we buy Scott Tissue and have for years. I bought her some the other day and she smiled from ear to ear. I've still got others so we will use it...but after that is gone we will buy scott.

That's what a plumber buddy of mine always recommends. He told us he saw many customers with plugged toilets who used Charmin and other brands of multi-ply TP's. I think a lot of that is people using way more than they actually need. :D

Yep...it’s great for septic systems too.

Good morning!

@NolaMel Have a very happy birthday!

Speaking of ramen..years ago the only way I would eat ramen was if it was stir fried. Crunch the bag so the ramen is in little micro pieces-then stir fry with oil for a few minutes-then add 1/2 water or broth and cover for two minutes or until done. Add meat or vegies. I learned a lot of cheap cooking when I was in my early 20s and had no money. :)

Got word that we will be heading back to work either in mid May or mid August. I don’t know which group I’m in yet but I suspect May. I don’t wanna go back!

My poison ivy rash seems to be spreading...between my fingers. Awful!

I have two carts ready but we’ll see. It’s rare when I come across something I really really want......so I’ll probably go for it.

Watch out for the PI - if it's spreading it might be systemic and you need something like prednisone. I look at PI, break out in a rash, and it goes systemic. There's a section of our yard that I can't go near as it creeps from the neighbor's yard, over and through a stone wall. We've tried to control it, but I've had to go to the dr 3x and that was enough. Now my DH, who isn't allergic (rat!), has to do it (ok, that works for me!).

Last weekend was bottle cleaning, this weekend I need to update my inventory of flavors. I ordered a bunch from BCV, but found I already had some that weren't on my inventory list. Argh. I also bought several new ones so it's time to re-organize the stash and expand into that spare case I've been keeping at the ready but haven't used.

I'm at work (monthly 3hrs on a weekend-ugh!) but it's quiet with just 1 more hour to go. The upside is I'm a little ahead for next week which promises to be a busy one, capped by my 2nd shot (Moderna) on Friday.

and Happy Birthday @NolaMel!

The shopping addiction can be worse than the nicotine addiction! The struggle is real!

That has become very true for me. I so look forward to opening the mailbox and seeing a package or two in there. It’s going to be weird for sure. Maybe I’ll wrap something out of my stash and stick it in the mailbox once in a while.
