DIY but not e-juice related, but my Jun Kombucha adventures have begun.

Just bought a pound of organic gunpowder green tea, which should last me almost a year if I only brew a gallon per week. Buying organic raw honey is the expensive part, but even so.. it's only about ~$7 per gallon. DIY is almost always the way to go in many areas!

I'm up early this am, awoke at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Now on my third cup of coffee. I'm having a truly ECF vape--FA white chocolate peppermint piffed by @vaper1960 on the Geekvape gbox bought from @Uncle and the Recurve dual rba bought from @AvaOrchid. I'm really enjoying it folks.

So glad to know you are getting use from the GBox . . .

Good morning random folks ;)Have you any plans today?

YEP - Waiting another day for a delivery from UPS - Notified over a week ago I had a package coming, however this past week just because the label had the city written down twice the UPS driver couldn't find where I lived . . . So after having the address corrected and getting 4 different delivery dates this past week - once again it is scheduled for delivery by 9 PM . . . Oh Yea, It requires a signature too, from email:

! You must be 21 years of age to sign for this package

Scheduled Delivery Date: Monday, 03/29/2021
Estimated Delivery Time:
by 9:00 PM

I don't eat breakfast, but I do like breakfast food. I eat eggs for dinner quite often. I could see how having cereal or sausage every morning would get tiresome.

Same here - No Breakfast - only coffee (and Vape) for the first couple of hours - makes me nauseous otherwise . . . However, I do have to force myself to eat about 1-2 oz of protein when I take all my medications late morning, including Insulin . . . Matter of fact, I don't eat a regular lunch either - a few "Snacks" throughout the day only . . . My Main meal of the day is "Dinner" and then maybe a bedtime snack like yogurt/fruit . . .

BTW: I do really enjoy foods normally thought as breakfast foods throughout the day - like for "Dinner"and especially late at night snack . . .

I’m happy to now have 3 base mixes though the ice cream is new and I haven’t done much with it yet. I think it will be a winner. I’m slow getting into the ice cream mixes but I’ll get there. I really like the mango I added to a tank, Maybe I’ll add a few drops to my 15ml ice cream tester. It’s not a full 15ml now but close. Going to go with 5 drops of Island Mango.

Your end result is an iced tea?

I know one base is your cheesecake. Now you have the ice cream base. What is the 3rd base mix?

End result would be a tasty carbonated fermented tea. It ferments in the gallon jar, and then I do a second fermentation to flavor and carbonate the tea in sealed bottles.. then in to the fridge. I'll probably flavor it with ginger, or maybe peach.. or peach and ginger. There are many flavoring possibilities.

I have no idea what that is. I'm guessing a tea. Oh wait, just saw your latest post. So it's a carbonated green tea then?

It is supposedly really healthy for you and your gut. It's full of good bacteria, and the other ingredients have benefits too.. but I drink it because it tastes really yummy. I've never actually had Jun Kombucha.. which is different than regular Kombucha, but I'm gambling on it being very good. Jun is made with green tea and honey and a different scoby, regular kombucha is made with black tea and sugar.

This "SCOBY" (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) and along with some starter liquid (kombucha from previous batch) is what makes all the science-y stuff happen.

Seems very similar to a Homemade "Dandelion Wine" and "Rumtopf " recipes . . .Bet it will taste just as great too . . . :D

Well, if you're looking to get inebriated on kombucha.. you'll need a 55 gallon drum. It's probably about .5-2% ABV

I tried it and it really bothered my gut. Funny, huh? I have the same problem with probiotics, but am looking for one for IBS/D. It's hard to find one with just the specific bacteria FOR treating it.

If you're not used to, or are new to,
Kombucha I wouldn't recommend drinking a whole 16oz, or whatever size, bottle in one day. I would guess it would be best to slowly introduce new bacteria to your body. Maybe there's other fermented beverages, or foods, that may help you? Seems to me it can be a very tricky balancing act for healthy guts, I can't imagine having to deal with that disorder/syndrome. I hope you find a solution some day!

I was vaping coffees in the full size GT . I now have coffee in the mini. So I avoided getting out another pv. I will put the big GT away for now.

When a tank is described as mini I picture a very small tank. The Nauti GT mini isn’t that small. I would say it’s a very nice size IMO. I’m very happy I got two of them.
