That's exactly what I did. Very sensitive stomach with this IBS stuff. Happened immediately after cataract surgery. Cannot prove it's connected, but have to wonder if some one of the anesthesias messed with my digestive system. Had it many years ago, too, and it was stress related. Kombucha I wouldn't recommend drinking a whole 16oz, or whatever size, bottle in one day. I would guess it would be best to slowly introduce new bacteria to your body. Maybe there's other fermented beverages, or foods, that may help you? Seems to me it can be a very tricky balancing act for healthy guts, I can't imagine having to deal with that disorder/syndrome. I hope you find a solution some day!
