So I was working and in deep thought trying to get some work done and catching up. I look up and it’s 5 o’clock! I get off at 4. WTH is wrong with me...

Boss called and said we go back to work in May but I only work Monday and Tuesday in the office and the rest of the week at home. June I go back full time. Working at home has been wonderful and I’m spoiled.

Son checked the mailbox numbers and only one of them had a corner coming up. The rest were sticking just fine. If it keeps coming up I’ll use some glue. I swear...two steps forward one step back. But I keep chugging along!

It must be difficult going back after working from home so long. Any chance they might let you continue to work from home long term?

I didn’t sft it but it is more of a real milk flavor than the fresh milk. The fresh milk was noticeably more sweet than the FA.

I did do the fresh with some black tea and wasn’t impressed.

Thanks Frannie and Hitt. Looks like I'm going to stay with Fresh Cream and maybe try Fresh Milk. Maybe half and half? A touch of sweetness with Black Tea might be good.

I think I’ll go with 2% on the tea and 1.5 on the cream/milk. Should be good enough to compare.

Or 1-1.5% on tea. It's a strong flavor. But you mix higher than I do.

It must be difficult going back after working from home so long. Any chance they might let you continue to work from home long term?

Not a chance. At least they are easing us into it. I feel lucky to have worked from home this long. It changed me. The days of wearing heels and dressing up are gone. I will wear jeans and some dress pants with flats or my Skechers. If I don’t feel like wearing makeup I won’t. My hair will be put up daily. I will take a lot of vacation days. I am all about comfort now. And family. It definitely changed me. I am there to do a job, no matter what I look like. I am going to work five more years and retire at 60. I can then draw two retirements and then SS at 62. Life is about more than working. I just didn’t get the memo today when I worked over. I can’t believe I did that.

I agree. 1% is barely there. If you want to taste tea, you have to go higher. But not much higher.

That’s rough. I had a chance to take a job with GM several years ago. They said they wanted someone to cover the KC plant for welding and robotics applications and an engineer that I worked with during a shut down recommended me to management. However management wanted me to move to Detroit and fly back and forth to KC. Didn’t make much sense and the engineer agreed with me. I turned it down. I didn’t want to move or be on the road all the time.

Well......sensis probelm?? Picked up my Sensis for a vape and it was off. Clicked to turn on and nothing, did over a time or two and nothing. Next order of business was to slam it. I rapped the bottom on my nightstand and it’s on again.

It's official, wife and I are licensed in Arkansas now. The lady taking our pictures told me I could smile if I wanted. I didn't, so she then asked-- "don't you want to smile?". Uh no, I broke my front tooth yesterday. She replied, "oh you'll fit right in now!".

When I was 14 I broke my jaw and had 8 teeth knocked out from face planting into my bike's handle bars at a race up at Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch in Tennessee. I generally have one or two of those break off every now and then and have to have them redone. I should just have the nubs pulled and get implants, but I'm a big ole fraidy cat.

When I was in consulting I traveled all the time and actually lived in Miami for five months on a job. I liked it at first. But then I realized I would never be able to have a family and be the person I wanted to be. This was right out of college. I did it for five years and then I got my dream job (the one I’m in now). Been here for 25 years. I regret nothing although the company I left is doing very well and I probably would make double what I make now. Jet setting wore me out!

I fell off a ladder boarding up my house in preparation for hurricane Emily in 2005. That was just before Katrina. I was leaving for a trip to Hawaii and didn't know if the stupid hurricane would hit my place or not while I was gone. I fell and landed face first into the pavement of the driveway, dislocating my big toe, cutting my gum, and chipping my front tooth. I went on that trip with a bruised face, and the hurricane veered south and didn't even come near my place. I kept that chipped front tooth until last year when my insurance actually paid for half of the repair.
