unless you really need a laptop, you might want to check out some all-in-one pcs....
I needed to update my laptop but man the price to do better than what I had was outrageous...
so I found on amazon an all-in-one 2.5TB HD 32GB RAM for about $1,400...I paid $1,200 for my laptop and it was only 1TB HD and 16GB RAM...now the laptop was touchscreen but I didn't really use it much and mostly it annoyed me so I opted to not get a touchscreen (took me a minute to get used to not having one lol) but the screen is 21.5" basically a smallish tv
so I mean depending on what specs you want/need in a laptop and if you don't really need it to be portable, you might want to check this out instead

:pervy: I'm not hit, but personally I'd go with sourcemore over healthcabin just because of the shipping costs...but it doesn't hurt to check them both out and then add them to your cart and see which is cheaper in the end but typically sourcemore is cheaper (just watch what they actaully charge you because twice now they have overcharged me and it's not something you'd really notice, once was almost $5, the last time was like $1.70 and both times I had to go back and forth with them before they refunded the difference)

On my last order from sourcemore they stated that your bank may charge a small fee for the transaction.

Does Sourcemore do paypal? What are my options for ordering from them?
I just ordered from them over the weekend.

They sent an order confirmation email providing two payment options. I used option 1, painless.

Busy day with household chores but I'd promised myself to carve out time to do some mixing. SSA Ice Creams, Apple Strudel (SSA) SFT, ShowMeTwice Custard, Lemon Cream Wafer, and Banana Moon Pie are now steeping along with a peach/apricot/mango mix. I was running out of defrosted nic and energy when work intruded (help, help, emergency! It's an emergency because someone didn't plan in advance, argh).

Now cleaned up, feet up, and DH is cooking dinner. Time to relax before Monday madness at work. I already know it's going to be a long and difficult week.

Please think positive thoughts - I did an @*RJ* If my extra effort last week bears fruit (twice what the owner expected), I may get a much needed new laptop out of it as a bonus. I'm looking at nice ones I couldn't otherwise afford :w00t:. We're waiting on confirmation from the accountants and probably wont' get that until the end of the week. It might get shot down or reduced, but it was definitely worth a try.
Fingers crossed you get a new laptop or bonus! I never get anything except more work. o_O Although I have heard lately we may all get a merit raise in October despite the cuts for some early in the pandemic. But my bosses give it across the board the same percentage so I’m not sure why they call it a merit raise. We got zero last year.

    I love this quote:

Poor Planning On Your Part Does Not Constitute An Emergency On Mine

Too bad. That sounded good. What would you suggest, adding 50% more or doubling it or?
Since my taste buds have always been...different...I suggest you make it as written at first. You may like it. It’s not bad, just the flavor for me is a bit light.

    I like the Soho.
I saved an earlier version of this recipe which you posted some time ago. But, you used the Soho @ 10% and the Caramel @ 1%.
Quite a difference with the Soho.
    Which do you recommend?
I prefer this mix, I'm not much for in your face mixes.

I tried to sleep in on the last day of my vacation but the cat will never let me. She is so annoying and clingy!

I think today I will clean both bathrooms. Not looking forward to it at all but it needs to be done.

The weather here has been absolutely gorgeous. Since today is senior citizen discount day at the thrift store, I may go see if I can find more clothes for work or a bookshelf for my flavors.

I refuse to spend my money on clothing when they have all you need at the thrift store for next to nothing. I’m frugal. My son laughed at me when I started buying this certain brand of jelly in these very cool mason jar type jars with handles so we can use them for our every day glasses. After this last jelly purchase we will have a set of six. :D

Obviously this jelly is branded as having a reusable jar (I didn’t know that until just now). They are sturdy and I love them. I may go for a set of eight just to see my son rolling his eyes more. Not the best jelly but I’m buying them for the jars. My brand of jelly called Bama Jelly was hard to find at the beginning of the pandemic so I bought this kind.

Hopefully work will be more steady in the future.

I hope so too. I have a good start but will run through everything that came in last week in a few days if the flow doesn't stay steady.

    Hiya Frannie, Mixers!

What would you like to know about my mixes--if one can call them that. ;)

Most are just improvisations on the theme: 2-3% TFA Green Tea with a touch (less than .25%) FA Honey and/or a touch (an accent) of FA Spearmint, Peppermint or CAP Menthol; or 1-1.5% FA fruit (Pear, Peach, Lychee, whatever you like); or a touch of lemon (FA Lemon Sicily).

I like tea (black, green and white) as a non-sweet, dryish base for other flavors, just like we used tobacco in the old days--vanilla tobacco, nutty tobacco, caramel tobacco, chocolate tobacco, etc. I don't really have recipes--I just add a drop of this or that to my teas.
Hi Tweety. :) Thanks. I knew there was more to your tea story. ;)

I'm always adding a drop or two, or three, to finished mixes. I'll take a finished mix and pour 5ml or 10ml into a bottle and add a flavor just to see how it will work. It's easy and never takes much in the way of steeping. A day or two and I know the result.
