Got woken up early today. Major storm going on. Lightening hit a big old tree in the yard and split it in two, half of it came down. The piece that came down was longer than our house and it landed just a few feet from our bedroom wall. It also hit another tree, can't see how much damage it did because it's still storming out there. It miraculously landed in the middle of a bunch of small flowering trees I planted a few years ago and doesn't seem to have hit any of them.

It's going to be expensive. The tree that was hit will have to come down and maybe the other tree it hit. insurance has a max of $1000 for tree problems and it's going to cost way more than that. Last time that happened I spent weeks cutting it all up myself and burned the wood. I'm getting old and feeble now so this time I'll let the tree guys do the work.

We have a dozen very old big trees around the house. I'm going to have the tree guys do a health check on all of them. It's nice living in the woods but it comes with a downside.

where in indy are you? I'll try to get ahold of a few folks who might be able to take care of your tree cheaper...my old sitter had a tree fall onto a powerline so she'll know some peeps...my estranged uncle used to do tree work, not sure if he still does.

man those storms were scary that thunder woke me up

That's the "CDR", Continuous Discharge Rate, of the battery. Exceed that at your peril! And yes, quite likely why it didn't perform well, since pushing it past its limit will result in extreme voltage drop.
I doubt I pushed it past its limit but then again I don't really know, bought these as mooch recommends them...I only use them in regulated mods and between 20 - 25w but with .15 - .2 ohm coils

Ok, that does make sense now that I actually look at the images a little closer. What mod color would look best with a rainbow atty?
Black, probably. You might be able to find a mod that comes close to matching whatever color in the atty seems most dominant to you, but even that would be tricky.

I already have one of the black Pulse 2 mods. They have a carbon fiber version. That is kind of similar to silver.

What do you think?
I think that would look terrible.

What kind of tree(s)? Could you sell the firewood?

With an sft you're testing only a single flavoring. With Bill's 100 drop taste test...you're making a miniature version of a new recipe...using the flavorings, plain PG, plain VG, and nic base shown in the recipe. Each 1% of any/all ingredients in the recipe = 1 drop that you use in the taste test. You "tweak" that miniature amount to your own taste, remembering that each additional drop of anything added to it...means a +1% change in that ingredient in the original recipe. You keep notes on what you've changed as you go, so when you're finished...it results in an adjusted recipe to suit your tastes. Making any full size version of that recipe then, will mean it will be identical in taste to the miniature one.

Here's a link to Bill's blog that's full of useful hints, tips, etc.:

My main problem with the 100 drop method is that drops vary in size from bottle to bottle.

I thought I saw someone say they liked a lemon flavor, using only one liquid. Was I dreaming or did that happen and what was the brand and exact flavor? Thanks.
Also, used to LOVE Lichee years ago. Can't even remember what company. Anyone know a good lichee flavor, too.
Darn, I told Frannie I just wanted a flavor or 2 to switch around. Now, you guys make so many sound good, but still want to stay as close to 1 flavor added to PG/VG with no nic. :)
VT Lemon Meringue Tart is good solo. I like it better than Capella's Lemon Meringue Pie.

Plain lemon will always need something IMO. You might like Capella Lemon Meringue Pie though. Also IMO it needs a little something more but if you are heck bent on simple and one flavor type things that is a good one
    You know me too well....:lol::lol::lol::lol:

but the same size if you use the same dropper :) Its how I learned to mix back in the dark ages  by drops or ml which is why now all recipes in % are hard for me or were until @JCinFLA put me on the right track:wub: keeping my fingers crossed
