I love her but she is stubborn and refuses to "act her age" and relax.

I really don't want to engage in this conversation, but I'm not sure what you're saying. Is your mom just difficult or is she suffering from dementia? If the latter, you both probably need professional help/intervention. Getting angry with her or suggesting she "act her age" (whatever that means) won't help anyone.

I also try to go with her when she drives... blew right through red lights twice (at major intersections!) Dementia is slowly catching up with her. My nephew is never here... runs away whenever possible.
Can’t blame everything on your nephew like you like to do. Take her license away.

I got the bifocal version of the Zenni glasses and these do what I want. I can look through the top (which is just straight ahead) and watch tv. Then I can look down and my iPad is nice and clear also. I think these will be very helpful installing coils/wicks.

Well, there was a long thread on Nextdoor this morning. There's a trendy shopping area nearby. Used to be quaint and fun with lots of small interesting shops, now it's wall to wall bars and endless apartment buildings. Not a place I would go after dark. Bit of a shame but that's the way it goes.

Anyway there were two smoke shops up there and a third one just opened. The local whiners were furious. Why do we need another smoke shop? Lowering the tone of the neighborhood. Blah Blah Blah. Someone said they were getting positioned for the upcoming legalisation of the other stuff. Someone else said they would probably be selling vape stuff. Mostly to kids, get them hooked on nic so they could set them up for a lifetime of smoking. That set off a long back and forth about how bad vaping is. Someone posted about vape having much lower levels of poisonous chemicals than cigs. Someone else replied that vape was far worse than cigs, it's obvious to anyone who bothers to read, there's plenty of evidence, I've seen it.

That last one made me cringe. That's what evidence is these days. You read some opinion piece on the internet which agrees with what you believe and that's "evidence".

Loaded up a tank with one of my new banana mixes tonight. Just 5% banana nut bread and 2% banana cream which someone recommended here recently. Used to love banana when I started vaping but haven't used it for a long time. Really enjoying it. I'll probably make some more with a little vanilla or more cream.

Seems too many have no interest in learning.

Are they not considered AIO’s if they take coils?

I don’t call the little ones Aio. They are just pod devices to me. Like the Violet ones I just reviewed.

Since you asked (I really didn't want to get into this) Difficult and dementia. I don't get angry with her (it takes all the patience I have to deal with this) "act her age" means NOT going out at 102 deg F and cutting bricks with a mason power saw (no dust mask) I offer to help... she says "I can do this" I say "at least wear a dust mask" she says "I don't need one". This is really bringing me down... can we talk DIY or something else?

My doctors (except my Primary) feel the same, they say vaping is "like inhaling jet fuel" and other nonsense. When I told my primary doc I now vaped she said "Good!".

This is amazing to me - you haven't had her drivers license pulled when she blows through red lights? What if she kills you or herself or someone? She leaves the gas on? Katya is right, you guys need pro help. At the least she needs in-home care, and maybe to be in a place that can watch her. It isn't about what she or you WANT, it's about what she needs and she ain't getting it.

My youngest went to spend a couple days with her boyfriend so my wife and I went out for dinner. The restaurant is called Corner Cafe. It’s mostly home style food. The tenderloin dinner was fantastic.

That’s great. :) It’s my favorite steak too.

This was a giant breaded tenderloin and mashed potatoes covered in gravy with green beans on the side. They have the best dinner rolls at this place.
