What's coming in your best package?

For my husband I bought him the new headphones and a model from Goat Guns... Those are his birthday presents.

For myself I hit up a sale (no longer going on) and bought two new tops which are being shipped separately (no earthly idea why.. lol), a coccyx pillow (so I can sit in chairs easier, my pain clinic doctor recommended it) and syringes for mixing.

I kind of figured my husband's presents being salted inside a flurry of a few small things for me would make it so my husband's presents would still be a surprise even if he was the one to collect said packages... lol

Good morning in here! Having a new roof put on the house/old torn off. Thank Gawd for Spanish people risking their lives replacing roofs! I could never do it. My cats are freaking out. I have all the blinds closed so they don't see the crew. Poor babies will have to deal with it today! I have to go without air conditioning (it's covered to keep debris out). I might have to mix today because I don't want to get in the way. I have so many outdoor projects but may have to stay inside.

Probably best to stay inside. Unless it's a huge roof it shouldn't take that long. Hoping you can stay cool enough.

I will...I'm excited about my pillow and tops. I found myself without enough proper physical therapy wear which is why I bought the tops,. I just hate repeating the same outfits over and over when visiting doctors (I'm weird probably.. lol), and I'm totally hopeful about the pillow. While sitting is easier with the injections, it's still not "easy", so hoping the pillow will help some and decrease the pain of it some more.

I received the injections in my sacroiliac joints on Friday, but it's still not helping yet. They said it may take up to two weeks to take effect. She said the wear in my left side is the worst she'd ever seen, which is likely why the surgeon recommended fusing it... but I'm really really not wanting to undergo a fusion. Fingers crossed on the injections actually working and full hope in the .... pillow... lol.

You know your old when you need a .... pillow... haha

They are 1:3 scale (non-working) metal models of various guns, with available accessories to go with them. Goat is for "greatest of all time" ... lol

Dry spell continues, but temps are still being tolerable.



Maybe take the tip off and let it air out a day or so? Sometimes that floral note is from a flavor being made with some alcohol, and the airing out lets that part evaporate out. Might help, or might not.

Hey that's a good idea.... didn't even cross my mind that alcohol might be the issue....and there's a harshness to it which could also be explained in the same way

Does anyone know how to catch a kitten?

Someone has dumped (we assume) a tiny little kitten out here. But whenever we walk up to it, it runs away (and is apparently faster than we are) the rest of the time it's going window to window crying for what we assume would be it's mother...

We just aren't sure what to do. We've provided food and water, but it's so very young! And my cat isn't being helpful, while she's curious, she's making no effort to go get the baby ..

How do we get it and bring it inside?

I'm just thinking 2oz bottles.

French vanilla is the one I use the most. I got two 1oz bottles of that and put one in a tub in the fridge. Since then I've done the same with a few others. Some flavors at BCF you have to get a more expensive mail option for larger bottles and they give you a special deal if you get multiple small bottles. I think that's for stuff with alcohol in it. Generally it's more expensive to get small bottles but flavoring isn't a big expense for me so I don't worry about that.
