Has anyone here mixed the FA banana candy yet? If so, what % did you use? I tried to do a forum search and a google search and I'm finding not a lot of info on the %. 3-4% sound right? Just checking here. TIA

Is that all 3 fruits in one mix, or 3 mixes? Yeah, 1% might be too low. 2% a reasonable bump, imo.
Good for hubs, yes, many do euthanize, especially if they have too many strays brought in to find homes for. Some specifically declare they do NOT do that, it varies.
Hope Miss Kitty adjusts. Sometimes a challenge, especially if the new kitten is male. Checked yet?

It's kinda weird but I think my ice cream base is a great flavor carrier. In my first mix I used .75% Crispy Wafer for my cone. For the ice cream flavor I just used 2% Chocolate Mousse. I have never before tasted that chocolate so good. In my second mix I used the same thing for my cone. For the ice cream I used 2% Purlium Rasperry and 1% INW Raspberry. The raspberries come through loud and clear. It doesn't taste a bit overflavored but I think I'd drop the Raspberries to 1% each.
I know your husband's fear - we were very careful when reaching out to shelters. The ones we wanted were full, the others not so much for a reason..
Can you put the kitty in a separate room to get settled and keep your cat away from it for now? Your husband could go in and visit to play and socialize it. I'd have go back and review things I've read about introducing a new cat into the house, especially when you already have one that's been ruling the roost. There were different steps, even swapping their spaces to get used to each other's scents.. I don't remember the details though. Just separating them might make it easier for all at the moment.
(funny - my DH always said he wasn't a cat person, but he's the one who didn't want to give it up. I'm allergic to the darn thing and now take a daily dose of drugs to cope).
So, one mix, IC base and 3 fruits? Each of those at 1% (originally)? Might just be that those 3 don't work well together, and leave a muddied mess, especially if all at the same %?
Do you not find that the pur and the inw taste really close? At least till you bump the inw a touch to high and it gets a little chemically. I rarely use the inw above .5
Taste wise the Purlium and INW go good together. Thinking I'll drop them both by .5% in my next mix. I think that will be perfect.
So... I'm an idiot. I had planned to clean and rewick 3 of my Dvarws so I could try three new mixes I've had steeping. I got the rewicking done filled up the tanks and was ready to rock and roll. Then I realized I filled up all three tanks with the same damn mix.
Sounds like you have some heavy vaping to do to empty those tanks.
I added some nic base to my raspberry IC. Should be closer to what I want. I'll have to remember to go light with my ice cream flavoors.
That's about 3 or 4 full days of vaping in those tanks. I just got out another Dvarw and wicked it up to try another flavor. But flavor #3 is going to have to wait. I don't feel like wicking any more today.
