Mixed up a couple of recipes. SMT's pudding base 2 with holy vanilla instead of shisha. And an apple pie custard, white choc meringue custard and Zazie's Mango Lassi....just because it's a really delicious adv :)
I didn't know Zazie had a Mango Lassi. I'll have to look for it sometime.

Wow! Good thing I'm NOT into mixing. I'm pretty sure I'd be living in a cardboard box and never leaving it, as I would have to protect my hoarding stash. Actually, would need several more boxes with holes in them for me to go back and forth getting flavors for mixing.:?:
Just a quick hello. Don't know if I'll make it back. Last decent day for sitting out in the afternoon, so that's where I'm headed. Still holding my own. Y'all have fun, hang in there. And @Butch , hope things take a BIG upswing for you and your wife....:)

Do you think no-ox would help if used before the issues began? Asking because I have one I've not used yet...

Yes. :) It, and similar products, are made to improve electrical conductivity, and work well.

It, or similar, will also lubricate the threads and prevent any spalling. Use VERY sparingly, a little on a cotton swab rubbed onto the threads, and gently wipe off any excess. A little will go a long way. And you might not need to recoat for a long time :)

Cookies are cut and baked. Icing will happen tomorrow. This has been more of a major production than I anticipated.

I managed to get a few more mixes in the box today: strawberry ice cream sandwich, creme brulee cookie, rice crispy treats (yet another version), peach floating island, and an odd one with pear/elderflower/MB pink lady. With the one shots from FJ, the steep box is full for next month.

    Woo-hoo !
My LiquidSmith order arrived (less the Whiskey of course)
    Excitedly sniffed the Lychee !

    Eeeeewww !
Shoulda googled it first. Very strong floral to me. :(

    Lychee - Wikipedia
The rind is inedible but easily removed to expose a layer of translucent white fleshy aril with a floral smell and a sweet flavor.

    What Is Lychee, Anyway?
    What Does Lychee Taste Like?
The lychee fruit has a sweet, aromatic taste to it. Some people say it tastes like a grape with a hint of rose, while others claim it tastes more like a pear or watermelon. The combination of sweet and tart means the lychee pairs well with other tropical flavors.

Glad I never got that. I dislike floral.
