I forgot Dd and son are going to the ocean tomorrow’s with DD’s youngest Dd and baby. For me……..an empty house 
Oh... I forgot to mention (and it's the reason my nickname is shootnstar) the best meteors (Perseids) of the year were last night but down here in the city (lights, smog, smoke) I didn't bother even going out to look. Should still be some tonight if you have decent clear skies. I'm so spoiled... three years in a row stayed up all night at glacier point in Yosemite. Pristine clear skies... so may meteors and even an aurora one time. I would have went out and looked but it wouldn't have been the same. Did that for the Lunar eqlipse and it was a waste of time.
So I love it when I get an empty house. I have some more mixes to do tomorrow. If I get creative I may write another granola bar recipe.
Good for you Fran... I often have to lock myself in my room and do hurried mixing.
Would you be interested in some granola bar ideas? Maybe something with cranberry (and other berries or fruits)? Don't forget lemon doesn't have to be the main flavor (just something to brighten up the other flavors) Or... maybe acai if you want to go a different direction. I have learned that you do have good ideas with mixing fruits... can't wait to see what you come up with.

I have a specific idea for my new granola bar. I like my Raspberry Granola Bar so much I’m going to use the same base with new fruits.
I have recently fallen in love with raspberry (to my surprise... thought I liked darker berries like blackberry)
But since you have tried that, I would suggest cranberry and (yes... but consider this anyway) VT orange marmalade (this idea was inspired by some cookies I recently tried... BelVita orange cranberry) I know... you say you don't like orange, but maybe with just a bit with cran might surprise you. The granola should work great with those.

Can I be honest? You always ask about using other fruits... then you say I don't like this, I don't like that... so why bother asking? No offense, but I won't bother suggesting anything again.
I just annoyed myself. I have different colored vape bands on Lemos so I know what flavor is in each. Got confused between purple and blue and filled the banana cream tank with coffee. I just rewicked the banana tank too. Now I have 2 tanks with coffee which I like but don't vape much. Banana is currently my favorite.
Life is good apart from that. The tree guys were here all day. Took down one huge old hackberry. It had been dropping big branches for a while. The trunk turned out to be rotten all the way up. It was close enough to take my house out if it had fallen in the right direction. They also cleaned up dead wood from half a dozen other trees and ground some stumps. They are coming back tomorrow to cut down a couple of trees in a neighbors yard that are hanging over my driveway and garage. The neighbor gave me the OK. Guy doesn't have any money so it's down to me.
And tomorrow the neighbor kid is coming over to cut the grass while I sit in the kitchen drinking tea and vaping.

Glad you got the tree work done. I remember once putting the wrong juice in a tank but I just remember disappointment.
