A bit cooler but more thunderstorms expected later today. The last few days have been miserable with high heat index and storms, lucky we didn't loose power like many did because I do really bad in the heat. I had a great start to my day here finding I won one of the Z80 kits

This is the last 90's day here for a while anyway. We had some rain last night which dropped the temp very nicely. It was nice to have a break in the heat.

They claim today will end the hot spell, only the mid 90s. Again. This is getting old...And by "ending" they mean "only" the mid 80s. I think they must have snuck in a new crop of weather guessers from the Sahara, if 85 is supposed to be cool.
There is a chance that high smoke from the CA and OR fires will keep the temp a little lower, and a chance that low smoke from the eastern WA fires will make being outside, uh, problematic. But at least it's smoke from DISTANT fires!

I didn't think we were supposed to but got rain late yesterday and overnight. The temps dropped from the mid 90's to 80's today. Hopefully it sticks around for a while. We really needed the rain. It's only supposed to get up to 78 today but will obviously be humid after the rain.
Mine came yesterday. The inserts actually fit one of the dvarws, so two up and running. That meant adding another mod. Right after I culled the herd lol.
Jackaroo #3 and coils came this morning, along with the rba head for the suorin trident. I have to try and build it before I see if I can teach the SIL to do it. He’s an electrician, and half my age so I bet he has better luck than me, cause it’s TINY. I have a box of 2mm precoils I think might work.
Hopefully Himself can get off early and we can make a Costco run. He’s had a brutal work week crack of dawn to late night. Hoping he doesn’t have to go in this weekend. He really needs the days off
I got all my last ft orders. The 3 that shipped recent are new orders so I'm not expecting them anytime soon. BTW I've seen you mention the Jackaroo several times. You likey I guess.
I got a couple remixes done. The Raspberry granola bar and a cheezy one. I need to write a new granola recipe once I figure out the fruits. Can be sure there will be no orange in it and I do dislike being told I should vape stuff I don't like.
That front is over the top of us now here in NWArk. The temps are supposed to be 85 to 87 for the rest of next week. What a relief!
I do, more than the kroma z. Really surprised me. I ordered one initially to use on the boat, or when we’re doing construction. It’s a little smaller than the kroma, and flavor is really good. You can make almost minute af adjustments which I like. It just ticked a lot of boxes for me I guess.
