I'm really surprised to hear that. I just assumed stuff like like was covered.
Hearing aids are massively expensive. DD’s last pair were close to 4K per ear. She was working for the city at the time and had excellent insurance.
The insurance I have covers most of the cost.

I figured you probably did. I remember you going through a few different ice cream mixes awhile back.
Yeah, it was getting a bit frustrating . I’m really really happy I hit the jackpot with that one. Hope you like it.

Nope... most insurance only cover the cost of seeing a hearing doctor and testing, but they don't touch the cost of actual hearing aids.

FYI: Medicare Hearing Aid Coverage Act of 2021 was passed and most if not all of the Medicare Advantage plans cover the cost of hearing aids too . . . So if your over 65 your in luck . . . Just Sayin' . . .

    Good afternoon fine fellows :)
I signed a contract with the devil and bought a macbook pro. My first apple anything. It doesn't replace my 2 desktop PCs, but for a mobile device.. the new M1 MBP couldn't be beat for the price and I actually really like this machine. I used to be so anti-apple. The Apple Tax when it comes to upgrades or servicing still stings though.
@hittman IIRC you were struggling with Python and that book i recommended you.. well, just in case you're interested.. I just started this program. App Academy Open it's a free version of app academy's $20k web development bootcamp and shares identical course work and curriculum, except it's free, slower, and it's DIY. Another one I'm curious about is this: Your Career in Web Development Starts Here | The Odin Project. I was about to make a major financial commitment, until I realized App Academy has a free program. I had overlooked it because I thought it was just the 20k bootcamp.
Both are free and no strings, and thought by chance it might tickle your fancy. And maybe if you just wanted to pick up python again.. sometimes leaving something and coming back to it after a while does the trick.

I wouldn't really say that I struggled. I started to read the book then put it down and didn't pick it back up. I've been consumed by stuff at home and reviews for some time now. I've had as many as 10 review samples come in around the same time. That's not the only reason. I just haven't been motivated to go back to it to try to learn. Maybe some day I will. How are you doing learning it?

Ah, that is definitely understandable and relatable! There is definitely a commitment to it with time. Right now, I can only devote a few hours per day, but at some point I can go full throttle. But even just a few hours a day during the busy time, and I'm going to be severely lacking in the sleep department. No pain, no gain they say. It's kind of mind numbing atm with the beginning stuff, as I already know a few things.. but I want to go the full route with this App Academy course. Currently it's a language I haven't learned before, but I'm finding it easy to pick up because of knowing other languages a bit.

That's too bad. I've never had that happen to me. If I am not home, they just leave it by my front door.

    Is it your ecig pkg?

    Yes, the pkg from Element.

Things are usually left here...this must not have been our regular carrier.

I haven’t ordered anything from the US but should any pkg need a signature I’m pretty much always here.

Steve has been spending a lot of time over taking care of my folks.

Good evening. I bought a pair of Brooks walking shoes and am debating whether to keep them. I got them for work since I’m on concrete all day. They have a 90 day no question asked return policy no matter the condition. I loved them at first but after four days at work I’m not sure. The right one feels a little tight. I’ll try them a little longer and may return them and get a wide pair in the same size.

More review samples arrived today. Marvos S pod mod and Blotto rta.
