Staying indoors again because the mosquito's have taken over. I did manage to go out earlier (with repel on) and pick my deck "green beans". I'm having a simple meal of green beans with sage sausage and peach tomato's. Then-going to watch or sleep though "The Green Knight". I'm hoping to get a nap in. I really need to mix something tonight.

I ditched the coil in my Zenith 2 and washed the tank. Still don’t know what I want to put in it so I’ll vape my extra tank of classys honeysuckle for awhile.

Good afternoon. It was 101 on the watts home and there was a bad accident on the highway so I was about 20 minutes late getting home. I had two packages waiting for me today. One was the aerator shoes I ordered from Amazon. I watched some reviews and decided I wanted to try some for aerating the lawn. My yard isn’t very big. The other was the new XROS 2 which I’m glad to get for review. I use the original every day at work and it will be nice to add this one to the rotation.

Thanks Fran. They have some pretty big spikes on them. I’ll have to be careful not to step on the sprinkler heads.

I had no idea what those shoes were until I looked them up. Did you buy the gold version?

Here's one positive.. next spring/summer go hunting for mushrooms in the burn area, and I think you will find a plethora of shrooms. At least that has been my experience.

Where I live in the mountains (at 5000 ) ft there were lots of Morel mushrooms (especially in previous burn areas) They are so delicious (miss them so much) Besides truffles (found under the soil) they are the most highly prized edible wild mushrooms. I'll post a pic later of some we got a few years ago.

My daughter arrived this evening. We had a little belated birthday party for her, just she and I, just like in the old days when we lived too far away from family and she was too young to have friends. We went out to eat at Cracker Barrel, then she opened her presents, and we had cake. Now we are just both chillin'. I soon will have to start getting ready for surgery tomorrow. I have to shower both tonight and again in the morning. They gave me hibiclens soap to use.
