    I don't "mind" pods, or non-replaceable battery mods. I just don't buy them :)

My "luck" with built-in bats wasn't so good, none lasted more than a year for me, and that was in rotation with several others. Heck, even my original MVP battery only lasted about a dozen draws after a year. So, no, those devices will be sold to others :) (Oddly, I do still have a mess of Spinners and such, that, last checked, do still work properly. So maybe I should have focused on the cheap ones?  Not that any of them could actually work with an RTA...)

    Different strokes. :)
I’ve had better luck than you with the built-in batteries and pods. If I had your luck with them I wouldn’t want them either.

I wonder if any long time vapers like us don’t have a stash of egos/spinners.

Yep. Back in "the day" they were a huge improvement. Sure beat the heck out of winding a coil for the only voltage available :)

With that said, what are you random folks up to this early evening?

R&R. Changed the sheets, got laundry going. Watered. Processed laundry. Light chain saw maintenance (getting ready...). Processed laundry. (Yes, only the two loads ;) ) Watered. Folded the fitted sheet, really, not wadded!

:nun: for all in the path, stay dry!

That is precisely the exact way I fold fitted sheets.

My bed is against a wall in a small room. I just stripped the bed to change the sheets and I’m going to blame David for that. However I got my exercise for sure and I found a missing shirt in my perfectly folded bottom sheet.

    That is progress :)

I may get the lime drink mixed yet. I had to stop and come upstairs because my oven timer was going off and I didn’t want to burn dinner.

Playing catch up. Mixed some more raspberry layer cake and a small batch of bavarian cream (I add that to a pre-made... Naked POG) The pre-made is so bright and too sweet (it's passion fruit/orange/guava) The bavarian cream dilutes it and smooths it out.
Finally built my RTA (lemo2) That was stressful! I haven't wound a coil and built in a while (just been re-wicking) Making the coil wasn't very hard (I actually made a home-made tool for that) Simple 26 ga kanthal, 7 wraps, 3mm ID... around 1.2 ohms. Was adjusting the coil... raising it and the coil leg popped out from the small mounting screw. Eventually got it mounted. Gave it a test fire before wicking... needed some "racking"/"stroking" not sure what you call it. It finally glowed evenly at 20 watts so starting with that. Wicked it with rayon and filled the tank (with unflavored base just in case there are any issues) Going to try it right now. If it works well, will fill it with my lemon meringue cookie (that's two lemons, flapper pie and cookie) Wish me luck.

RTA is doing fine. I'm sure it can handle 25 watts but the Lemo2 does not wick well so don't want to push it tonight (sticking with 20 watts) Now I wish I had put my lemon cookie in it.
I was going to mix some more licorice but realized I have some left from before. One of my 0.8 Z coils was getting cloggy from FA cocoa I added to chocolate mix I made. Soaking it in vodka right now... hope it still has some life left in it (it wasn't real bad yet) Will vape the licorice with that coil.

I've just been chillin' as I have been all weekend. I think my voice is coming back, but I'm not sure. Since I'm all alone, I haven't been doing any talking, which is a good thing as it gives the vocal cords a rest. The swelling of my neck incision is getting better. I'm pretty sure I had a hematoma, a pocket of blood underneath the incision. They can go away on their own, but if not, the incision has to be opened up and the blood drained out. You don't end up with a nice scar that way. My chest incision is healing up well.

Well, doesn’t look like I’m going to get the lime mixed tonight. Maybe tomorrow. I had to put out the trash for pickup and the dog really wanted a walk. I haven’t been able to take her out much with the heat wave we’ve had. She can’t handle it when it’s hot like that.
