Yes I'm getting that with you....that you kind of prefer a fruit with a back up base undertone. I'm a bit like @ShowMeTwice in that I like my fruits to be a bit more buried in the mix.
You might like your ice-cream with the FLV alpine strawberry....very authentic up front fruit.
That Alpine Strawberry gets talked about a lot, but it is Expensive! I've almost bought it a couple times but pulled back.
FLV Alpine Strawberry is a good s-berry. Very strong. It's an ultra concentrate. I've never used Alpine Strawberry over 2 drops in a 30ml mix.
I have the Alpine. I may do a 15ml ice cream with one drop.

I was the same way for a long time and finally bought it on a sale. It is expensive but if you compare how much you use at a time then it really isn't. One or two drops compared to 2-4% of other strawberry flavors.
Good news. The first coworker that was off with covid is back today after 12 days off so we finally have some help and I hopefully can get my own work done today.

Well, it looks like I’ll be mixing an easy Strawberry Ice Cream with the Alpine. I have no other ideas so I’ll be thinking about what I can mix with my bases.
It’s a very cool and wet day and I’m not inclined to walk out to the mail box when the mail gets here. SIL will check it when he gets home from work usually. I don’t plan on coiling my new bases today anyway. I have to get my little mag light out of the box and see what that looks like. If that doesn’t work for me then the next step is mag glasses.
Still gonna cost me 15$ to get those two drops though, lol.
