Just got home. They did do a Covid rapid test and it was negative. I was pretty sure it would be. The doctor gave me 10 days of antibiotics.

Still glad you got the Covid toast out of the way. Hopefully the antibiotics will do the job.

For the most part-it's better. A onion taste super sweet to me. I have hit and miss taste now. I still cannot smell human odors which is needed in nursing. I did smell perfume for the first time recently. I have what is called "Covid long haulers syndrome". I expect taste/smell never to be like it was before.

If you’re right I hope you at least get more improvement.

Everyone says you can’t get sick from the flu shot but I got this sinus cold the second day after my shot. Coincidence? Maybe.

Coincidence maybe. Flu vaccines are inactivated but can cause low-grade fever, headache and muscle aches. If you are getting antibiotics for a sinus inflammation it makes sense but the common cold no. A rhinovirus takes time to get over it.

I have never had an issue with them. I know all shipping has slowed down. I recently had a food order from a company that is delivered with dry ice. It took so long they had to resend the order since it was probably bad. They said they have major shipping delays, not enough drivers or loaders.

A curiosity-- my voice goes way up in pitch when my VNS fires. I sound like a cartoon character. It's still better than before, I didn't have a voice at all when the device fired.

I've always had a male doctor, even though after a physical I feel ill the rest of the day And when I reminded him there's now a blood test for one procedure, he keeps telling me it's better to digitally check.

I got lucky this morning and got the right hearing aid in pretty fast. The left is a challenge and I am no part left handed. After several tries since this morning my ear was getting a little sore so it will be another day. Tomorrow I will attempt to put the left in first.

I also have an excellent way to know if a hearing aid is working. I have a couple tanks that crackle. I can’t hear them without a working hearing aid.

UPDATE:

The Car saga . . . Well couldn't find anyone to get a jump start from, so of course waited until EARLY this morning to call tow company . . . An hour later the tow man showed up and asked what was wrong - Long Story Short - he got in car and the car started right up . . .

Both embarrassed and ...... at the same time . . .

Thankfully, no charge - gave the man a tip anyway . . .

Anyway car at mechanics - says he can't check starter unless it is not working (don't understand that, then again I am not the mechanic) - asked him to go over car anyway and double check battery, check fluids, also see if anything else was wrong. Hopefully I get car back this afternoon - NEED to go food shopping - and go to doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon . . . We'll see . . . Just Sayin' . . .
