I did read some flavor notes for WF Grape juice where it was said to be sweet. A couple say it isn't. If it is sweet that will be a good opportunity to use a little FA Grape Concord to kill off some sweetness. FA GC is not a sweet flavor. It includes the bitter skin notes. Very strong flavor.
Interested in what you think of the Grape juice. I have it also.

Just got back from what will probably be my last fix-up of a bad install. My old boss has this tiny twin engine plane and I swear the damn thing sputtered the whole way back to Arkansas.

I hope he makes it back home safely to Tennessee.

    I may never fly again...
I think I'd have a heart attack before landing.

I am very happy with the FW white, FA black and the FE green. If the TFA green is good, that's a bonus win as far as I'm concerned.
Oh, I do really like the FA Black from way back.

    Morning all

I might try my Mango and Guava cream this morning....not sure. It's usually ok as a SnV but is better after 7days. It's had four so it'll probably be ok. I'm interested to see what the pink Guava does to the mix.

Good luck with your mixxes
    Interested also.

Midway through Texas I wanted to tell him drop me off so I could drive the rest of the way home. We did have a good conversation, he'd like for me to travel and do installs, or at least try again to train the guys we hired to replace me. I am getting old though, my body is older than my age. Terrible cataracts, immune system in the dumps, along with some kind of weird interaction with the stuff we dose the pumps with... I think my days in the industrial pump business are done.

Damn plane ride still has me so revved up... I probably won't sleep till morning.

I can't taste anything right now. Oddly, I gotta admit I am really in the dumps. I wonder if there is any correlation with covid and depression. The fatigue is incredible...

I did smoke while in Cali, and I don't mean nicotine either. I wish I could share pictures of the incredible stuff I saw. A 12 foot plant, wow...

I feel like I could sleep for two days...but you know me, wake up to eat lots of food. I think I deserve copious amounts of sushi.
It's great that you can eat. Just wish for you to feel better.

Good morning mixers. I slept better last night than I had in over a week. I actually feel somewhat rested for a change. Still lots of sinus drainage but feeling better.
    Very glad to hear that.

    Happy hump day, agitators ;)

Well, yesterday's promised 60 was a toasty 52...overnight scattered showers were pretty steady. Hmmm, what else did they get wrong?

I tried my honeysuckle tea today. It's 2% SSA green tea and 4% TFA honeysuckle. It tastes like floral soap. I think I have too much of both flavors so I'm going to dilute it with some unflavored juice and see if that helps.

Haven't used the SSA, but yes, the honeysuckle does look a tad high. May want to spike the nic if you dilute it? And maybe air it out a couple days?

    Terrible cataracts,

Those can be taken care of, easily. Simple office visits these days, no muss no fuss. Seeing is good!

Good morning all you lovely People. :)

Busy mixing day thus far... I mixed 3 SFT's and my new white tea recipe.

SSA Madagascar Vanilla, SSA Grapefruit and FW white tea.

    WF Grape Juice SFT.

    VTA Apollo Freijoa SFT.

    INW Marula SFT.

Those last three are new to me flavors. And because they are very 'different' kind of flavors I felt the best route was doing SFT's. I am most interested in those last three and especially the INW Marula.

The African Marula fruit is a favorite food for elephants.

Did these elephants get just a little drunk on marula fruit?

And no, they do not get intoxicated from eating Marula fruit. ;)

Good Morning in here! A sunny day here..finally! A big 62 degrees. However, for SE WI I still have tomatoes, green beans and flowers. No frost yet!
On the mixing front..I need to mix but always run out of time. I'm going to attempt tonight when all the hoomans and animal critters are sleeping.

Our cucumber and tomato plants grew like crazy this year but we really didn't get that many cucumbers so far until my wife went out to the garden the other day and brought in five cucumbers and an armload of tomatoes. I guess they were all waiting to grow at the same time. Actually, we finally got some rain so even though we water, I think the rain made them grow.

Interested in the INW Marula also. Wonder if it's similar to the FA Amarulu.

I think rain is always better for some reason.

I have many plane stories, from big jumbo jets to the tiny puddle jumpers like @Skeebo was on. In my profession I used to spend much time flying all over the place.

One time I was on a flight from LA to Minneapolis. Our plane was a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar like the one below. The L-1011 had a capacity of around 400 people and our flight was nearly full. One of the perks of my job was flying in first class depending on the plane type.
    N726DA.jpg

As we got near the airport the Captain came on the intercom and said they were experiencing some snow in the Minneapolis area. I thought, no biggie. While on our final approach into the airport I thought it odd that the cloud deck was going on and on with my seeing no ground. I'm watching out my window thinking the ground will show up soon enough. After another minute I realized why I wasn't seeing the ground. Minneapolis was in the middle of a heavy snowstorm!

After a few minutes the left back landing gear touched down and then the plane started veering to the right. Slick runway. People started screaming. The pilot quickly got the right back landing gear down, with a loud thud. People screamed louder. The lady next to me grabbed my hand and squeezed very tightly. The plane started fishtailing side to side. The nose gear quickly touched down with a jolt. People were still screaming. I pointed to the nearest two exits and told the lady that's our plan just in case.

It took the pilot a bit to get the plane under control. It felt like an eternity. As I looked out my window I could see only falling snow. We taxied for quite some time before I was able to make out the terminal. People cheered when we stopped at our terminal. The pinky and middle finger of my left hand had wedding ring indentations for days after that from that lady squeezing the crap outta my hand. For me that was the scariest landing ever.

Under the "More" part of this thread - FYI:

Doctors appointment yesterday went very well, I think. . .

First thing the Youngin' said - "So surprised how good you look compared to what you looked like in the hospital" . . . DAH ! ! ! REALLY ? ? ?

Having Chronic Kidney Disease, Stage 5; Secondary to type 2 Cardio Renal Syndrome, Congestive Heart Failure, and being Hypoglycemia at the time I entered the hospital . . . Although a little worse for the wear - I hope I look "good" now . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Anyway, labs were pretty good . . . Thankfully, I've stayed off having to go on Dialysis (for now), after the loss of over 50+ lbs of water weight in a little over2 months, no longer Stage 5 . . . now at Stage 3 . . .

Next, is trying the get my Diabetes/Glucose numbers back under control . . . Ever since I started the new diuretics to lose the abnormal gain of water weight, daily glucose numbers are extremely wacky even though A1c is pretty good (steady at 6.8 - 7.5) . . . So We'll See . . . Just Sayin' . . .

    .
