To me, FLV Wild Melon tastes like honeydew out front, combined with back notes of cantaloupe and watermelon. It's a good flavor. Some like it on its own.

And what exactly is a wild melon compared to a domesticated melon? IDK. I've never seen or been to a wild melon patch.
I've never seen a wild melon patch either.

No regrets on ordering more OOO Creamy Yogurt Cheesecake. Put the mix in a tank that I added a little raspberry to and IMO it’s really good.
What percent did you use for OOO Creamy Yogurt Cheesecake?

    And you added only raspberry?

That sounds tasty. Fran, is the recipe in Zazie's blog?
    I don't know. It's just a simple two flavor.....whoops three.

    Grapefruit Yogurt
    FW Yogurt 6%
    FLV Pink Guava 1%
    FA Grapefruit .75%

So, are you folks all stocked up?
For gear, yes. Flavors, yes. Likely won't need any more flavors for a while. At least until someone here starts raving about one I don't have.

I'm still researching flavor companies not commonly used in DIY. Mostly for an emergency backup plan in case the powers that be ( :nah: ) ever start clamping down on our favorite DIY places. Hopefully it never comes to that. :thumb:

    Somewhere between here and there
I like new things, but, there are not many newly launched products that are tempting.
    What about you?

I'm looking forward to getting the new Riva 200 for review soon.

I quite don't know what to do with grapefruit thinking about:
    grapefruit-fa-4%
    biscuit-jf-1%
    vanilla custard-mb-1%
    HELP!!!!
Consider dropping the FA Grapefruit to 2% - 2.5% to start. If that's not enough then you can easily add more. It is a bitter flavor!

FA grapefruit is the whole fruit. Complete with the realistic bitter edge, like the membrane between grapefruit sections. It is not sweet at all. To make it more palatable consider adding an orange to your mix (like 1% - 1.5%).

Consider bumping up the MB Vanilla Custard to 1.5%. That will help some in taking the edge off the bitterness of the grapefruit.

JF Biscuit is a sweeter buttery cookie with a touch of vanilla. I would bump that up to 1.5% - 1.75%. It will also help with the grapefruit.

IMO, bumping up the custard and biscuit won't make the mix grossly or overly sweet.

If you like grapefruit consider buying SSA Grapefruit. It is, IMO, the most realistic tasting grapefruit of the ones I've tried. The SSA is juicy and has more sweetness but in the way a ripe grapefruit does IRL. It's not a sickly sweet at all.

    Good luck!

When I lived in Boston I remember folks complaining about how hot it was one summer-- 79 degrees.
Yeah, the weather has really changed too much. We had way too many 90's this year. Way more than normal. Now, that's hot.
